Picture Perfect Birthday Altered Treat Bag

My project for you today is the Picture Perfect Birthday Altered Treat Bag.

We made this bag during Chic n Scratch Live #55 on Facebook last Friday.  And today I’m sharing the simple quick video.

I used the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set with the Striped Treat Bags.  And I used four colors of ink … Memento, Bermuda Bay, Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo & Lemon Lime Twist.

I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut out the birthday image and then I used the Layering Circles Framelits to cut out the Pink Pirouette scallop circle.

Two of the items I used are retiring…

  1. Mini Birthday Binder Clips
  2. Pink Pirouette Ink & Pink Pirouette Card Stock (everything Pink Pirouette is retiring).

Here’s the video tutorial…. If you’re reading this in your email box, please CLICK HERE to watch the video on my website (the watch video button doesn’t work).

Here’s a Question –  for some Chic Candy

A month or so ago I started putting the Inspiration Sheet and the Stampin’ Up! Supply List on a separate page to clean up my blog posts.   My questions for you is … How do you like it?  Or do you dislike it?  I like how my blog posts look cleaner, especially on a mobile device and tablet.   But, what are your thoughts?

  1. Hi Angie,
I like the option button. If I want to see what supplies etc. Are needed then I would just click on that. When there is too much to read it can be a little over whelming.
    Have s nice day.

  3. Very cute! I have some of these bags. But, when they are flat for which they are intended to be – they just don’t always hold what I want to put in them. So, this a great way for me to use the little bags! I love that idea. Using the gold doilies is a great touch too. Thanks a bunch for another fun idea!

  7. I like the way you have inspiration and supply list separate. It does make for a much cleaner look.
But you do what you like! The rest of us will follow along!

  9. Love this way to do the bag, so it stands up. I like being able to click on the inspiration sheet and supply list. It’s nice that they are on their own page and not all below the project, but then again, either way is fine.

  11. This is such a pretty bag! I really enjoyed Facebook Live on Friday. It was fun to watch you experiment with the new Big Shot embossing pads.

I like the blog with the separate links to the supplies and inspiration sheet. There is less scrolling involved.
