Year of Cheer Christmas Box

yearofcheerChristmasboxb

The Year of Cheer Christmas Box is the same box as the one we made during Facebook Friday #32

Instead of using solid card stock and decorating it with Designer Series Paper, we used the Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper (this paper is much thicker than our regular DSP).

“A gift for you” is from the Add a Little Glitz Stamp Set … but you could also use Ready for Christmas (both images will fit in a 1-3/4 Circle).   I stamped it with Basic Gray ink …. but you could also emboss it with Silver Embossing Powder.

I LOVE the Foil Snowflakes paired with the Metallic Enamel Shapes!

  7. Whoops, I called it Merry Wishes and it should be Merry Patterns. See, can’t even get it right when I was sitting there looking at it.

  8. The silver accents are the perfect combination to complement the DSP. I agree Angie-the paper is beautiful (and the box, as well!)

  9. Thanks for the tutorial. I’m reminded now of some treat bags you demonstrated a few years ago. So I’m going to make boxes and treat bags with some of my paper stashes for Halloween and Christmas! You introduced me to the scallop and circle punched shapes for topping things! Love that!

  12. How festive! I love all the shiny glitz and I don’t think I’ve seen a single box you’ve made that I haven’t liked and put into my “try-it-soon” folder. I’ll definitely be digging into that folder for the holidays ahead. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with us.
