Feathery Friends Card

My simple card today was made with several items from the NEW Stampin’ Up! Catalog.

I used the Feathery Friends Stamp Set and it’s a Hostess Set on page 221 (of the new catalog).   You already know I love birds and this set was a must have for me!!!

If  you’re a member of Stamp Club Online … this is one of the Stamp Sets you can earn free as a Hostess.   We need one more member in the Calypso Coral group to get started in June. 

The ombre looking Designer Series Paper is the Color Theory  Designer Series Paper Stack (6 x 6) and it measures 3-1/2 x 3-1/2.   The pack of paper includes, Old Olive, Berry Burst, Dapper Denim and Crushed Curry.

After I stamped the bird on Shimmery White card stock with Basic Black Ink, I colored it with the Aqua Painter and Pool Party, Soft Sky, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie.  Once it was dry I added some Wink of Stella (Clear).    

Here’s all the measurements…

• Daffodil Delight is 8-1/2 x 4-1/4, scored at 4-1/4, 2-1/2 x 2-1/4
• Whisper White is 3-3/4 x 3-3/4, 2-1/8 x 1/2
• Color Theory DSP:  3-1/3 x 3-1/2
• Shimmery White: 2 x 2-1/4

 I will post the inspiration sheet & supply list this evening… we are working on mailing Stampin’ Up! Catalogs so that the USPS lady can pick them up before the end of the day!!

Facebook Friday

Facebook Friday #21 will take place this Friday at 7pm central time … but we are making one small change. Instead of going LIVE on my Chic n Scratch business page, I’m going LIVE on my Chic n Scratch Online Group. Please join this group if you’re not already a member!!   The reason for this change is … every time I do a Facebook Live event … I hear from a lot of people that they could never find my video.  The reason for that is Facebook’s Algorithm along with you have to “like the page” and then select to “receive notifications”.  As a member of a group … you should see everything I post!  I’ll be testing this for the next month to see if that solves the problem.
