12 Weeks of Halloween 2016 Week 4

 12 Weeks of Halloween 2016 Week 4

12weeksofhalloween2016week4b

The Halloween Box is the 4th project for the 12 Weeks of Halloween.

I made it using the Halloween Night Designer Series Paper that measures 8-1/2 x 11 … along with the Halloween Treats Single Stamp.

I colored the image with three markers … Basic Gray, Basic Black and Tangerine Tango and then I cut it with my scissors.

I made this very same box back in June and the cutting of the Designer Series Paper was confusing for some of you … so this time I made it with DSP (making it easier for you and me).  Click here to check out my previous version … the Perfectly Wrapped Box.

To complete the box I put two Halloween Kit Kats in a Gusseted Cellophane Bag and tied it closed with the Halloween Night Bakers Twine.

If you’re not a fan of Halloween I have a Christmas version of this box to share with you next week.

  5. I love the box. I don’t make things with scoring corner to corner because it is hard for me to see. I wish stampin up would design a maker that could be used to mark paper that would disappear after a few minutes. I know in the sewing world they have one but I have not tried it on paper. Thanks for the idea.

  7. Thank you for the awesome video on this cute little treat holder ! I downloaded the instructions and I think that the diagram for cutting and scoring may be a little off – you have the corner diagonal lines going from the corner point in and on the video the line you scored with your scoring tool went from the top inside first line to the outside first line – ??? I am going to try and make this and I am hoping it turns out ! Love all of your videos and appreciate them too !

  9. Oops, the diagram on page 2 showing where to mark and cut the diagonals is wrong. Compare it to the Perfectly Wrapped Box diagram.
