Washi Tape Mothers Day Card

My project today is a simple card made the Beautiful Butterfly Die and the Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape.

Before we talk about the card I want to mention that the Butterfly Die is retiring and available only while supplies last.

This card measures 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 and it’s my go to size for card making!

To make the butterfly all you do is take a 3-1/2 x 3 piece of Whisper White card stock and cover it with Washi Tape (at an angle) and then place it on the Big Shot to cut out the butterfly.

Chic  n  Scratch  Retreat

Registration is going well … last I checked we were about 3/4 of the way full.  I’m sorry I haven’t posted the hotel name!  I’m waiting until all the paperwork is finalized (contract is signed and deposit has been made).   I can say that it’s near the Kansas City Airport and it’s a very very nice hotel. (It’s safe, clean, pretty and has a bar.)  The minute I get the link for you to book your room I will post it on my Retreat blog.  You do not have to stay at the hotel to attend the event.  But if you decide to stay please book your room as soon as I send you the link… it’s race weekend and all the hotels in the area will fill up fast.

Update 11:43am – Contract is signed and I have my confirmation … our Stamping Retreat will be held at the Hilton Kansas City Airport.   As soon as we have the link for you to book your rooms we will send it to everyone that has registered.
