Chic Stand Box

Chic Stand Box

 chicstandbox_b

My project today is a box that I’ve made for years and one of the awesome benefits is you can store it flat and use it later!

I think the very first one I made is “one of my most watched videos on You Tube” … the Sweet Pea Candy Box.

Today I’m sharing it again for two reasons ….

  1. To spotlight the fact that I can sell my Chic Stands again!
  2. To showcase the awesome Fresh Prints Paper Stack and the Best of Greetings stamp set (soon to retire).  The Best of 25 Years stamp sets are only available through March 31st.

Click here if you would like to order a Chic Stand.

To make this box you’ll need two pieces of Coastal Cabana card stock:

  • 8-1/2 x 3-1/4 – Score on Landscape side at 1/2, 3-1/2, 4-1/2, 7-1/2
  • 4-7/8 x 4-7/8 – Score on all four sides at 15/16

I LOVE the Ruffled Stretched Trim …. It’s perfect for a box like this because you can slide it on and off without destroying the box or the ribbon.

Here’s the video on how to make the Chic Stand Box:

Here’s the What’s a Chic Stand video …

Speaking of the video …. right as I was about to add a Candy Dot to the Brad Base it hit me that I could use a Rhinestone instead … Wow …. I was so happy!!  Why it never came to be before I’m not sure.

Here’s a Valentine version using the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper with the Love you to the Moon stamp set.

Valentine-Love-box

As you can imagine …..  I was so happy to get the news about my Chic Stands that I starting crying!!  (I’m a sensitive person … what can I say …. and I usually save my prayers for way more important stuff but I found myself constantly praying that I would receive good news.)

To celebrate this good news I’m giving away…

  • 3 Chic Stands
  • 3 Chic Stand Boxes
  • There will be three winners and they’ll each receive a Chic Stand and box.

To enter to win please use the entry box below.  If your name is drawn and you’ve already purchased a Chic Stand we’ll either refund your money or send it to a friend of your choice.

Yes, we will ship to a different address … just make note of it on your order and we’d be happy to send it to a loved one!

  6. Hi Angie,
I have a question- When you place your paper on the measuring marks do you put it right on the line or just right up to the line? Sometimes my score measurements don’t line up .
    Thanks ,

  8. Cute box. I was afraid you were going to poke your eye out, or the camera’s eye, the way you were holding the paper piercer. 🙂

  11. I’m so happy for you, Angie. Your creation is once again for sale. I think the idea is perfect. You want to have your piercer close by, but you want it to be a safe solution. Magnificent! I hope you have great success with this invention.
