Origami Box

Stampin’ Up! Origami Box

 origamibox_b

Today I’m sharing with you how to make an Origami Box.

I used the Language of Love stamp set with the Full Heart Punch, Banner Framelits and the Hearts a Flutter Framelits.

Special note … ignore my constant error of calling the Banner Framelits the Pennant Framelits … maybe in the next month or so I’ll catch on!!  (I think I’ve filmed three of four videos calling it the pennant framelits….oops!)

All you need to make this box is two pieces of card stock … the top measures 6 x 6 and the bottom 5-3/4 x 5-3/4.   That means out of one piece of designer series paper you can make two  … or four if you use a solid color for the bottom.

The Designers Series Paper Stacks is one of my favorite products in the Stampin’ Up! Catalog and it was an easy choice when I was making these boxes.

  7. I love these little boxes… I can think of so many uses – it looks like it would fit two chocolate nuggets perfectly. I was thinking maybe you could punch a hold in the side and actually fit a heart valentine sucker in there. So so cute and thank you so much for sharing.
I know exactly how you feel with that nagging cough… here in Austin, TX is Cedar Fever time and this year is the second worst on record. That cough, sneezing, and itchy eyes have been driving me crazy for about a month now. ARG! Hope you get better soon.
