Easter Jar

My project today is an Easter Jar that I filled with Jelly Beans.

To make this project you’ll need a half pint jar (wide mouth) and I found mine at Walmart.

I used the Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper from the Spring Catalog … along with the Paper Doilies.  To go around the jar .. you’ll need two of them.

The stamp sets are Teeny Tiny Wishes and Crosses of Hope and I stamped both of them with So Saffron ink.

To cover the lid of the jar I used a 3″ Circle … along with a Scallop Circle that I cut out with the Perfect Pennants Die.  The white Circle is 2-1/2″.

Here’s a video for ya …..

Here’s the Stampin’ Up! supplies for the Easter Jar:

  • Stamps: Crosses of Hope – 117136 (W) 120567 (C)

  • Card Stock: 100730 White, 126922 Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper

If you tried to watch my live stream on UStream last night .. I’m really sorry!! I’m still not sure if it was a UStream problem or Time Warner Cable.  I tried for 45 minutes to keep a connection.  It really could be my internet connection ….. because when we have a lot of rain .. we lose our phone, cable and internet and we’ve got a ton of snow still on the ground…even Miss Bella’s electric fence isn’t working.  It should melt this weekend and we’ll try again next week!

If you registered for the Virtual Birthday Bash … your kits went in the mail today and you should have them a week before the class starts.  If you’re participating without a kit … you’ll receive access to the website right before it starts.

Thanks & have a great day!!

  1. Angie this is sooo adorable! Thank you for sharing this tutorial. I have so many mason jars that this could work on. You did a fantastic job and I love the color of the pretty light yellow. So perfect for Easter! On another note, is there any way you can email me and let me know which program you used to edit your videos? I am starting to want to make videos but Have no clue what to do for editing and I’d also like to know how you get your blog logo on the entry of the video and where you get the music from? Thanks a bunch!!

    Hugs,

    • Hi Jo,
I use iMovie and Final Cut Pro to edit my videos.
The music is included in iMovie on my iMac.
My blog logo is added just by adding a picture to the front of the video.
      Good Luck!

  2. Very cute project. Can you tell me why they videos stop. I let it sit for a few seconds to see if it is rewinding, but it doesn’t start again until click on the picture or the start button several times. Thanks.
