The More Amore Valentine Treat is the same project I’ve shared with you the past two days.
And this time instead of using regular card stock as the base … I used the Designer Series Paper. Making it even quicker and easier to make …by eliminating one step (more affordable too).
To make this project you’ll need a 7 x 4 piece of card stock or designer series paper and score it at 1/2″ and 3-3/4″. Add adhesive on the side and the bottom .. crimp the ends and then decorate it. Way back years ago .. we made popcorn bag holders like this .. and then it was candy bars. So, I just tweaked the measurements to hold snack size candy. I love it .. an old idea brought back to life with some minor adjustments!!
Here’s another picture …
I’ve got two videos to share with you today .. but … I’m not feeling 100% .. so I may have to update this post with whatever I forgot.
The first video is the Patterned Occasions Stamp set video …and I show you how I use a hot knife to separate the words. For example yesterdays project had “Happy Valentines Day” instead of “thanks a ton”.
The next video is how to make the Valentine Treat Holder …

Very cute project!!!!
Very cute bags Angie, love the patterned papers and that elephant is adorable.
Very nice.
Thank you for both of your videos…great to see how easy (if you have the tool!) to cut the verse from the stamp….but I have to say that with all of your comments on being safe, that you left the still hot and sharp knife right next to your hand while you showed how it all worked…hope you stayed safe after the video! I really appreciate the second video to show how you made the little bag and shared your idea of using the ribbon to bring the treat out….thanks also for showing that we can use less ribbon!
I love the elephant, too! You always pick the prettiest color combinations; Real Red and Pool Party look fabulous together 🙂
Neat idea!!
