My card today is one that I created this morning and I guess you could say it’s my Thanksgiving card this year.
I used the Seasonal Sayings stamp set that can be found in the Holiday Catalog on page 34. I stamped it with Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla card stock and then cut it out with the Apothecary Accents Framelits. (Don’t you love the framelits?)
The paper is the Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper also in the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog on page 28.
Before I attached the greeting to the card with Stampin Dimensionals I added the More Mustard Brads on each end. You can find the More Mustard brads in the Regals on page 174 of the main Stampin Up! catalog.
Here’s a dirty version …… sponging on the edges with More Mustard ink. I also used the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack with the Paper Piercing Tool and left off the brads.
I’ve been working on my Chic n Scratch Photo Gallery the past two days and I took a few minutes to look back at some of my older projects …..and ….. it reminded me that 4-1/4 x 4-1/4 cards have always been my most favorite. They’re simple quick and easy (do all those words mean the same thing?) and are so much easier to make!
Over the next few weeks I’ll be updating my Photo Galleries with more recent photos ..the ones you see there now were transferred from my old blog. I can’t wait to have all my photos in one location!!!

Thanks & Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving also!!!
When you make this size card, do you just use a regular envelope?
Carol, I use a standard size envelope … my theory is .. who opens it and says the envelope was too big. I’m pretty sure they’re happy to receive a hand made card and didn’t think twice about the envelope.
I have been a follower for awhile. This card really got my attention. It is simple but lovely.

What a great plain and simple card….colorful and fun and gets directly to the point! TFS and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Hello!
A very pretty card! Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving with your family! I hope that you have nice weather – it is going to be 60 here in this part of WI and that is wonderful!
This card is simple and beautiful. I wanted to say that I really like the pictures of your cards/projects. I am not sure what you are doing differently but the clarity is amazing.
