  2. Hi Angie,

I was wondering what adhesive you like to use the most. Do you prefer different adhesives for different situations? I have always used Snail for everything, but when I pulled some projects out from last fall to display they were falling apart. I was disappointed that the Snail didn’t hold as I thought it was supposed to be a permanent adhesive. I would appreciate your advice.

    • I have had the same problem – you must live in a humid climate like me. I just found out that the new SNAIL refills are different. I’m hoping that this addresses the issue. I’m surprised that they haven’t announced a change (found out from someone who ordered them).

I substitute the Tombow multi (green bottle). It really holds well and lasts longer than the SNAIL. Plus it has the advantage of have a little time to “adjust” the image before it is permanent and also to be able to put it in very small areas.

Misty here from Texas. You mentioned in your desk organizing video that you had a folder for your taxes and you needed to pay them. Can you explain more of the business side of Stampin UP? Such as taxes, how you get paid, etc?

    Thanks!

  14. I actually don’t use either. Facebook cut into my scrapping time too much, and our family out east only complained about each other all the time, so we just dropped it. I haven’t heard about this instagram. The first I heard of it was on a TV show, so I don’t even know who to do Instagram. Love the projects you do, but I can only see them by visiting your blog or emails. Thanks!

  30. I use both.. I like twitter to post random thoughts, enter sweepstakes, and sometimes posts crazy pictures. I use FB to check in on family, friends… and my favorite sites. I love Instagram to click random, funny pictures. There are many apps out there that you can distort (good or bad) pics.. it’s fun. I am finding some of my blog crafting sites starting to use Instagram. Using it to have a givaway or asking challengers to post their projects and a random person will win a gift. that’s nice.

Since SU does not offer the “craft” inks anylonger – do you have any suggestions on using clear embossing powder with the classic inks? The craft inks gave us so many embossing color options without having to purchase various colors of embossing powder. Do not do Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

  36. Hi Angie-

I don’t do Twitter . I am on Facebook quite often but I am not subscribed to your page ( you do have one?) I don’t use Instagram either. I visit very few blogs any more but still come to visit yours ! I enjoy seeing the projects and videos and your craftroom (color me jealous!) I also love when you show us mistakes/bloopers – I like the “realness” of it ! I also go to Pinterest quite often — way too often actually !

There just isn’t enough time to subscribe to every single portal that crafters use. I’m really trying to cut back on internet time 🙂 Family comes first and with two busy/active kids — it’s hard to keep up !

Are there any other hobbies you enjoy as much or more than papercrafting?

If I want to use a punch (such as the blossom punch) on a card layer and I also want to use an embossing folder on the same piece…should I emboss before I punch or would it be best to emboss after I punch….or does it matter? (I don’t have enough card stock to waste any, so I thought I’d ask first. 🙂 Thanks.
Also, I don’t know how to facebook or twitter.

My new ink pad doesn’t have any color label at the end. I used that label as my ‘guide’ for where to push it open. Any chance that Stampin Up will start sending a clear label w/ color of pad or even PUSH TO OPEN so that we can attach the clear label to the correct end?
