Just checking in ……

It's been a few days since I've updated you so I thought I would take a minute to do so.

Chase's has his doctors appointment today ….it's his first since his surgery….we leave in about an hour.  I think he's doing better …we'll see what the doctor says.  He's had some good days and some bad days and I can safely say he and I both have major Cabin Fever!!  I've left the house once to pick up supper and no sooner that I drove off he and Brooke were both calling me that he was in pain.  I haven't left since.

For those of you that deal with this type of situation all the time …I feel for you and will keep you in my prayers!  The isolation & lack of sleep can sure do a number on you.  It's funny when I posted all the details I heard from so many of you that I shouldn't forget to take care of myself.  At the time I was like okay ..will do.  But that's not easy to do!!!  I won't bore you with all the crazy reasons why I'm utterly exhausted!!

Good news is ….. I'm going to post a project tomorrow!!  If a miracle happens I could post it this evening but I'm sure the outing is going to get to Chase and I'll probably stick by him when we get home.

I just have to say ……You've all been so patient with me and not a single person has been mean or rude ……. I'm not sure I've said this before ….. I love y'all and I appreciate you!!!

Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow!!

If you can not upload the project today or tomorrow, no problem! These things are sometimes slow and tired.

  4. Like Suze Orman always says…”People first, than money, than things.” Why in the world would anyone say anything rude or mean? You have a family and that is your job FIRST and foremost! Hang in there, it will start to get better soon! 🙂

  5. I hope the appointment with doctor goes well….but your comment has me concerned Angie who in their right mind we make cruel or rude comment about a mother taking care of her son!!!!?????? That would be simply amazing to me. Listen, honey you take all the time you need, we will still be here and so will your SU products, projects etc etc….your SON COMES FIRST!!! Please keep updating us though. You know that you and he are in my thoughts and prayers daily!!!

  7. Hi Angie,
Don’t you worry about anything but your families good health! The only miracle we want is that Chase is up and back to his best and feeling well. Much love and blessings to you all as you travel through this time. The fact is that Chase will always know you were there for him and this bond will carry beyond the rest of your lives. We all find great peace in helping our children, It is good to know when we lay down at night that we have done our best for them. You are amazing and just keep on keepin’ on. We will all still be here when you return to your regular routine. Thanks for the update and send Chase my best for NO PAIN and to feel better and stronger as each day passes!

  8. Hope the appointment with the doctor goes well. The outing will be good for both of you. I’m sure there is some frustration in not posting (or even stamping), but you are doing the right thing in being with Chase. I keep checking your site for an update or a project, and if neither appears, I know you are being a Mom – second best thing in the world. (Because being a Grandma rates #1 when you get there!)

  9. Hugs and prayers for your whole family. Being momma to one who is hurting is the hardest job there is. We will still be here when you get back, and Lyssa is right. Family comes first.
