Yesterday I got a head start on making my Monogram cards for the Holiday season. I usually do white cards but this year I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something different. I'm sure glad I did! I love this card!!
My card measures 4 1/4 x 4 /14 and I used the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder to emboss it and then used the Frosted White Shimmer Paint to make it sparkle. I stamped my initial from the Broadsheet Alphabet with Baja Breeze Craft ink and embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder.

On a different note…mark your calendar for Wednesday….I'm going to be streaming live on and off several times featuring the Holiday mini catalog :) I'll post the details tomorrow.

p.s. Thanks again for everyone that helped me with my test yesterday on UStream!! I'm still confused….some saw the images as ovals and some saw circles…if you want to check it out and let me know what you see that would be great. (does the circle look like an oval to you?) love this…but do you package them up as gifts?
Would love to see how you would package them up?
Thanks for sharing.
I watched the recorded version of yesterday’s UStream. I immediately noticed that your fingers looked long, and the circle was an oval. When you turned the card on the right sideways, it was still a vertical oval. The quality of the image was very clear and your voice sounded fine. No choppiness or hesitation. I watched it on both small and full screen and it was the same on both. I was really impressed with the overall quality! You’re nearly there! Thanks so much for working so hard on figuring this all out. Love your videos and UStream!!
The picture was pretty clear every once in awhile it would go distorted. Everything looked longer. The card and the circle look longer. But other then that it was great. Can’t wait to see more.
Lovely monogrammed cards. I just watched the recording. It was clear, but the circles definitely looked like ovals. Even the ink pad was elongated.
Angie,
First off – I LOVE your monogrammed cards! I’m truly enjoying watching you create in real time, , as it really is SO fun! I just finished watching the latest video, and the circles definitely looked like ovals on my end, the stamp pad appeared elongated, and your fingers too! 🙂 That didn’t change when I switched from viewing with a full screen, or with the small screen. The picture quality was very clear on this one compared to your first videos. I’m using a MacBook Pro, in case that info helps you at all. I look forward to being able to join you while you’re filming the next live one, so I’ll keep checking back for your upcoming *start* times. Hopefully I will manage to time it perfectly so I will be online with everyone else while you’re filming these. TOO FUN!!!
Loved these monogram cards, loving the stamp set too! I watched the ustream video on the mongram cards last night and did notice after someone mentioned the oval look to the punch and your fingers look so looong 🙂 I then went and re-watched the saturday ustream video and your fingers were the correct size, I was watching on my laptop full screen and small screen and that didn’t change the size of your fingers 🙂 So it must be a setting you changed between Saturday and Sunday. Love your videos and looking forward to more !!!
Angie: I am all over this card. How cool. Love the Vintage Wallpaper. Can’t wait for my order to arrive. Hope you decide to do a box to hold the cards. Would this not make a wonderful Christmas gift for Anybody and Everybody and how easy. You know I’m creatively challenged! (LOL)Thanks for sharing.
Hi Angie: Just wanted to let you know that I saw ovals and not circles. I could hear you great, it wasn’t blurry or choppy at all, but definetly something was weird. Glad you told us it was circles! Great job with the cards, they are awesome!
I love this card!!! I watched the recorded version and saw it both in the small size and in the full screen. I saw ovals in both versions. The pictures and voice were both nice and clear.
Angie,
I was looking through your shop and couldn’t find an option to purchase a packet of paper in a single color to make sets of these cards. Can you send me an email to let me know how I can purchase a packet of paper in a single color?
Thank you!
