Scratch & Win question

What would you like to see over the next few weeks?   Would you like me to show you items that are retiring or keep showing new stuff?  I thought it would be cool if I could go through my samples and show you projects using retiring merchandise (most samples have been seen before but may have been forgotten).

I'd like to hear your thoughts….please leave a comment by midnight tonight on this post and I'll draw one name to win this Magnetic Board.

Sweet Pea Magnetic board

Good luck!!

  1. I am ready for some new stuff! You are so creative! I already look at your old stuff thats posted. Some I say..”aha!” and others I have even tried. Thanks for
    asking what your “peeps” prefer!

  2. Retiring more, new stuff sprinkled in. It’s nice to know how everyone is phasing out old stuff to ease into the new! 🙂

  3. 50/50. Every other day post a project using something new and on the opposite days post a project using something that is retiring. Just my thought, but that way you are equally advertising and showcasing the retiring list and giving sneak-peeks at the new catty.

  4. Angie- I love all of your projects. One of these days I’ll be signing up for one of your classes :). New projects would be good and then maybe some favs from the retired…Honestly anything you do would be wonderful!

  11. Angie, I would like to see things made with NEW stuff and a little of the old stuff 🙂 Can’t wait to get some of the new colors!!! The Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight, I think will be my new favorites, do you have these colors yet to show us? Thanks for all your great ideas!!!

  12. I really like how you change it up and keep it fresh! One day it might be retired, then the new goods and then a sewing project. From simple cards to sharing your downline cards. You make it really fun and always have me coming back for more and chatting about it with family and friends.
Your doing a great job, keep it up!

  13. I think that’s a brilliant idea. Most of us stampers are “out of sight out of mind” kind of ladies anyways when it comes to stamps we already own and rarely use!!

  14. As great as new ideas are I would love to see stuff for retiring items. This is a great chance to pull out stamps that I already have & use them and see if there are some retiring that I can’t live without. I love the magnetic board! I bought everything to make my own & some for gifts and can’t find the flashing … bummer!

  16. How about showing an older project, then refreshing it w/new supplies/ideas, to show us what we can do with the new stamps/supplies? I find that a lot of “new” projects and ideas are “old” ones that have been revamped, so … . I am also very excitedly looking forward to the new products! Can’t wait for the cherry, oatmeal and daffodil cardstock, as well as, to see all new dsp and any fun punches or embellishments SU will offer! 🙂

  17. I got a sneak peek at the new cattie yesterday as my upline is in some recruiting brigade group or something like that! Awesome is all I can say..but I agree with almost everyone here. Your projects are super and I love that you share with everyone so freely. I also like the idea that someone said, you take an old project and make it with NEW products!

  22. I’d love new ideas using the existing and the last 2-3 years of stamps from SU because that’s the products that I have and really need to make better use of…and ideas for the larger “tree stamp” which is one of the recent purchases. Also ideas for making thank-you candy holders for my grandkids teachers and birthday parties.

  34. Hi Angie, How about showing the old tools used with the finished project and then show the new tools with the new project so that they can be compared. So we can see how easy it is to change the project just by changing out something.

  35. How about something new one day and alternate with something that will be retiring. You always have the greatest ideas!

  36. I would like to see the old stuff that is retiring so that I am able to purchase the products before it is too late. Maybe you could post just the photos of 3-5 old things each day for a week, then, if we want to make any of the projects, we can look up the details on your site. Also, I live on the east coast and cannot find the magnetized step flashing for the magnet board any where. I went to both Lowe’s and Home Depot. The ones they carry here are not magnetized-they are aluminum. Any on-line sources?

  42. Hi Angie,
I would like to see a little bit of everything! you are so creative that anything you do I would love to see! my 5 year old daughter loves watching your tutorials with me! =)

  43. Well since I am new to SU and cardmaking in general, I would love to see new items especially cards.

here’s something else I would love. I’m beginning to find sooo many new sites and companies offering their own card stock line, inks, ribbons and buttons such as PTI, I would love to see comparison charts of colors. Honestly, I love SU ink pads so much more than PTI but I get confused as to the color differences.

So this would be a fabulous thing for me personally. I have all of PTI’s ink pads and only 6 of SU but I plan on building on SU inks now since they are so much nicer.

Just my thoughts here…don’t know if anyone else would be interested in that or not.

    Thanks for considering….Erika

  45. We’re all excited for “new” creations but as mentioned previously, showing us something “old” may inspire us to use the old before purchasing new supplies. The magnetic board is an awesome give-away!

  51. I’m in favor of seeing new products used, especially since there are major changes now with all the new colors. Assume there will be many new stamp sets available in clear mount so will watch for that too. Thanks!

  53. Angie –

I would love to see more of the retiring product. After all, the new stuff will be around for a year and the retiring stuff will be gone forever in less than 30 days! Thanks so much for sharing all your talent with the rest of the world. You are one of my biggest inspirations!

  54. My vote is for the new stuff!!! A little retiring products here and there would be cool every once in a while, but we have been seeing them for a year now. Thanks for all you share with us! :o)

  55. If you use retiring sets, maybe I could make up my mind if I really need to order the set/s before they retire. If you use new sets, that would show new and fresh ideas. Either way–keep the great ideas coming!

  56. I would like to see new stuff. If it is retiring, I do not buy. I don’t know how soon you get your pre-orders and or when you can use them. I am looking out for what I would like to buy first! Thanks for asking–I know there are so many different opinions for you to consider.

  57. I think it is great to see the new stuff but the things you do with the “old” stuff is so good….it is hard to make a decision. I am anxious to see the new line.

  59. This is a difficult vote to make. I have a lot of the sets that are retiring so seeing new uses for some of those would be great but I am really excited about the new stuff. That said, how about a “do over” showing a project with a retiring stamp set made over with a new set to show how to keep ideas fresh?

  60. I love all your stuff! I would like to see a little of both. Thanks for all the easy to follow tutorials…I am definitely a visual learner and the video tutorials are perfect!

  61. I’d really like to see both. I love to see the new stuff, but at the same time….if we see some of the retiring stuff it may spark that last minute interest.
