Two for one Basket

Sweet Pea Basket
My title is kinda tricky 🙂  To be honest I'm not sure what to call it.  Way back when it was just a basket, I called it an Easter Basket….but now it's soooo much more.

I needed a pick me up this week and my friend Julie invited me to lunch…..and to my surprise….. she brought me this super cute basket.  (Thanks Julie!!!)

Julie's basket

And then…… she told me it was the same basket I made way back when…….just tweaked.   Don't you love it?   Click here to see my Easter Basket picture & video.

Dual Basket

One piece of 6 x 6 designer paper will make these darling baskets.  They are both cut & scored the same & the only difference is how you assemble it.

If you've purchased a Designer Paper Product Share from me, you can make a whole bunch of these!!  (I'm still taking orders, click here for more info.)

The stamp set I used is Vintage Vogue out of the Occasions Mini Catalog and the basket on the left I used Cottage Wall Designer Paper.  Basket on the right is the Sweet Pea Designer Paper.

Stamp Club & 3D Kit Club ladies…. this is one of your February projects, we'll be making the basket on the right & I'll be using a variety of the Sweet Pea Designer Paper.

Here's a few more pictures & don't forget to tune in tomorrow for the video & the supply list.

p.s. I've added a chat box to the right side of my blog….I'm testing it out to see how I like it.  If you have a question you'd like to ask & you think it would benefit others to see the question & the answer……please feel free to use it.

  2. I love these little baskets – such a versatile technique. You at too clever!
But please tell me what you scored the 6×6 paper at – in your video you’re using 8 1/4 x 8 1/4 and scoring at 2 3/4.
Is it the same for the 6×6? I too have a SAB 6×6 paper pack and I’d love to make a bunch of these.
    Thanks!

  3. Very cute. I can’t wait to see exactly how to make it. 😀 I love the look and it may just be what I have been looking for. I have TONS of old DSP and I have been trying to figure out something to do with it.

  6. very cute!! I will have to try this out!

I looked for your chat box and I guess I’m over looking it. I had a question about my embossing buddy–it leaves a bit of the dust so you can see where I ran it across the cardstock. Is it supposed to do that or do I need a new embossing buddy? 🙂 thanks!
