New Moon

Warning……this is not stamp related 🙂

It's time to start talking about New Moon.  If you live in my area and want to join me for the midnight showing of New Moon on November 19th.

Here's the plan…..

Meet at my house on November 19th between 5:30 & 6pm.  We'll head out to dinner and then from there go wait in line for the doors to open.   If you've never waited in a line for a brand new movie you've got to try it.  It's so much fun being around all those people that are just excited as you are….if not more!!

Going on opening night is a regular thing for us….some examples were Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings & Pokemon…isn't that a hoot? I waited in a forever long line for that show to start!!

Please send me an email and let me know if you want to join us at mychicnscratch@aol.com.   And if want to view it a 2nd time on Friday (midday) I'll be there again to see what I missed the first night (all the cheering and clapping makes us miss some of the good stuff).

See ya!

  1. I would give just about anything to see it with you Angie!! We live to darn far apart. 🙁 I decided not to go and see it on opening night. I have to teach the next day and my students have to come first. It’s a hard choice between Edward Cullen and my students. LOL!!! I’m going Friday after school FOR SURE.. I hope you have a wonderful time with your friends. 🙂

  5. Man! I wish I lived closer! I’d be there in a heartbeat to go to the opening! I am soooo addicted to the Twilight series. I’ve read all – plus her partial on line. And I watch Twilight frequently!!! Addicted, I tell you!

  6. I think we are all on the same page…wishing we were closer to go with you. Especially since there isn’t anyone in the middle of Wyoming to go with. 🙁
I did have to laugh at Jenny L’s comment. I am a teacher too but if given the choice I would definitely choice Edward Cullen over my preschoolers. I guess that puts me out of the running for teacher of the year!)
    Hope you all have fun!

  7. I like Jenny R’s comment about not being teacher of the year. LOL.. Honestly, If Robert Pattinson came knocking on my door right now I would drop everything and hit the road with him. HA HA. I love me some RPATZ. I don’t think you guys know how obsessed I am. I’ve read the whole series about 4 times, watched the movie too many times to count, and I visit three Twilight Saga web sites daily to get my fix of the latest news. 🙂 Can you say obsessed?? Of course I am team Edward. I’m too old to be Team Jacob. I remember my own children watching him on the Disney Channel. LOL. Now that I think about it, I’m 35 and really too old for good ole Rob. Oh well, a girl’s got to dream huh?? 🙂

  8. Of course I normally check in with you for all your cool stamping ideas, but had to giggle at this post! I’ve already pre-purchased my NM tkts – but I’ll be sticking a bit closer to home (for me – Perth, West. Australia). So funny to think there are women from ALL over the WORLD dreaming of Edward and obsessing over Twilight. The audiobook of Eclipse is on repeat in my stamp room! Enjoy!
