Blessing Mix Box

Good morning!

I’m super excited to show you today’s project!!  Every year I make a Blessing Mix to put on our table Thanksgiving Day. Each person gets their own box and I’ll never forget the first year I made them (I was shocked when they were opened & eaten….I always save mine).

Blessing Mix Box 2009
I used the Box #2 Big Shot die to make the box and & used Crushed Curry Cardstock.  The Pheasant is from the Autumn Days stamp set and I stamped him with Soft Suede ink.   The Blessing Mix is Pretzels, candy corn, peanuts, bugles & orange slices and it’s in a Medium Cellophane bag.

I’m going to film the video either this evening or tomorrow and when I post it I’ll supply you with not only the Printer Friendly version but I’ll also include the Poem.

Here’s the Supply List:

  • Autumn Days Stamp set #115452
  • Box #2 Big Shot Die #114518
  • Crushed Curry Cardstock #115319

  1. I have never heard of this sort of thing before, maybe it is regional. I am CASing this and doing it for my family and hopefully it will become a new tradition for us. Thanks so much for sharing this and including the poem that goes along with it. It is so appropriate for the Holiday. Have a happy stamping day.
