Convention swap & more

Good afternoon!

I arrived home last night and I'm going through all sorts of emotions!  I'm trying to process everything I experienced at Convention.  I'm also still in shock over the awards I received and honestly it feels like it was a dream.  Over the next few days I'll share my swaps & some Convention pictures and then I'll get back to business.

2009 Convention swap #1

My first picture is one of the swaps I took to Convention (it's also one of the cards that will be in the August Card kit).   I used the Halloween Frights & Halloween Hoot stamp set with Od Olive Cardstock.  I stamped the stars with the White Craft Ink and colored the owl with Stampin' Write Markers

The punches I used were 1 1/4 Circle, 1 3/8 Circle & 1 3/4 Circle.  Here's a picture of the inside…..2009 Convention swap #1 inside

I've film a video on how to make this card.  Click here if you'd like to watch it.

If you placed an order during my Convention Special, this is one of the cards in the kit (please remember my card kits do not include stamped images but I'd be happy to help you chose a different set).

My next three pictures are from Convention 🙂  Thanks Suzie & Sally for taking the pictures!!

The first picture of the big screen that posted my name in 5th place for Demonstrator of the Year and the 2nd photo is after I received my necklace & rose.   (I was so nervous that my own body was shaking!!)Demonstrator of the Year

Demo of the year

The next picture was taken on the day we arrived at Convention.

Well, I just wanted to say that of course when I was talking to you, I didnt realize the wonderful accomplishments that you made. You were a humble and very kind women, and I am thrilled that I got the chance to meet you. You are an encouragement to me. Thanks!
