Top Note Quilt

Top Note Quilt Good morning!

Isn't this card amazing?   Melissa gave me this card yesterday & I think I squealed with delight when she handed it to me.   I love it….thanks Melissa!!

I thought you all would like to know how it was made….so I wrote the instructions on a picture :)  Although some of the products are retired…I copied it exactly so you can see how it was made.  But ….can't you see the Tea Party Designer Paper with this?

She used the Top Note Die & the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds #1 Texturz Plate. Here's the picture…Top Note Quilt instructions (you can click on it to view it larger).

The stitching was done with a black marker & the edges were sponged.  Wouldn't you love to have a quilt with those colors?

Thanks for all the birthday wishes & goodies…I'll be sharing more pictures this weekend.

Busy busy day….four more days until we leave for the Stampin' Up! Hawaii trip and I've got to a million things to do!

See ya tomorrow 🙂

p.s. here's a picture of the bags I buy to make the Top Note bag 🙂  I found them at Michaels.Paper Sacks

  4. Adorable! I wanted to make one of these from the first time I saw yours, but then I got the wrong size bags, but on the weekend my demonstrator showed me how to make one using a bagalope – just take half of the envelope I normally would – score 1 inch around and voila it’s the perfect size! I have a picture of an easter basket make that way on my blog today.

Thanks for all your great ideas!!

  5. I love this and made 2 variations of it tonight. What a fun card! I found your blog maybe a month ago and have been LOVING it! I’ve been a stamper for several years, but you have great new projects that are so simple I can’t believe how cool they turn out. Thanks for sharing!
