My video today demonstrates how to make this Acetate Pillow Box.  Enjoy!!

Stamps:  Cute & Curly (in the Curly Label Punch Bundle

Ink:  Timber Brown Stazon or Basic Brown

Other:  Alphine Ribbon, Big Shot, Pillow Box  Die, Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware, Glue Dots, Curly Label Punch, Wire Cutters, Paper Piercer, Large Oval Punch & Chic Stand

p.s. When you use the Big Shot Pillow Box die with Acetate you need to add two pieces of cardstock under the die before you run it through the Big Shot.  Because the acetate is so thin…you need to make the die thicker.  Let me know if you have any questions.

  1. I was watching this video, and thinking that this is something I would like to do. I like giving out little treats at our Christmas gatherings, and this would fit the bill nicely.
However, when I was watching you struggle with the acetate box that didn’t want to co-operate while you tied the ribbon, I thought that a rubber band would have made things a whole lot easier. It would keep the ends closed while being easy to remove when you had tied the ribbon!

  3. Hi Angie,
Love your blogs! As I watched this video, I realized you can hide the seam of the paper by placing the hardware over it. You rock!

  4. Hi Angie,
Love the video. I’m so casing this idea for a craft fair I have coming up in December. I stamped snowflakes on the acetate with my trusty white staz on and they are adorable! Leaving off the hardware, to keep the cost down. Thanks for another great idea!
