Look closely so you can see what I discovered….the snow & the fluffy stuff around her coat…I used the White Gel Pen with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and it looks like Stickles or puffy snow. Instead of dragging the pen, just keep making white dots and connect them..does that make sense? Wording this stuff is hard!! (click on the picture and you can see it larger, just don’t look too close at my coloring)
The next two pictures are cards I worked on today…..remember I said this was going to be contraband weekend? But before I share them I have to thank Tisha for loaning me her stamps, thanks girlfriend!!! And thanks for bringing them to me in this horrible weather.
The first picture is my warm up card…isn’t it sweet? Do you recognize the designer paper from last year?
The last card took me a few hours to make and I really like it!! Guess it’s a good thing I’m stuck in this house! (we’re having a winter storm.. Dave and Chase are stuck at the lakehouse, the roads between here and there are really icy, keep them in your prayers.)
One final note and I’ll stop…yesterday I said my blog was 95% Stampin’ Up! and I think it is, but I do use other items when I get an urge. I love everything that Stampin’ Up! has… the cardstock, the matching ink, the matching designer paper, the punches… it just makes everything easier. Have you ever searched the isles at the store looking for blue ribbon to match blue cardstock? Need I say more?
Sorry, I’m so wordy today, guess that’s what happens when you start to get cabin fever!! Let’s hope our ice storm doesn’t get any worse!!
Check back tomorrow for some more cards using the NEW stamps from Stampin’ Up!!
