Bella and Friends Just For You Card with Chic n Scratch, Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Angie Juda
My crafty project for you today is the Bella & Friends Just For You Card and it’s the first card included in my FREE Bella and Friends Make n Take Class Packet.
We made this very same card over on Facebook this morning for my Coffee & a Card … except we used This Little Piggy instead. All the measurements are the same. I just used a different stamp set and moved the greeting to the side.
Card Keeper Portfolio with Bella and Friends Make n Take Class Packet by Chic n Scratch, Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Angie Juda
My crafty project for you today is the Bella & Friends Card Keeper Portfolio and it’s the first project I’m sharing with you that’s included in my FREE Bella and Friends Make n Take Class Packet.
You can earn it for FREE with a $50 order using Host Code: JJNM6W64or You can purchase it by clicking here.
The Bella & Friends Make n Take Class Packet will work just like the Painted Seasons Packet we did last month. Over the next week I’ll share the four cards that will be included with the Card Keeper Portfolio.
I’ve received a few questions regarding the Storage by Stampin’ Up! and I’m just going to do a quick blog post answer a couple of them.
Question #1 Can you transport the storage cubes?
Answer #1 You can … but the units snap together but they do not lock. In other words by moving them they can fall apart. The solution I’ve come up with is a very large rubberband. I have four of them on hand from my Smash Book days …. here’s a picture.
A couple notes about this … the Rubber Bands work best with the Open Storage on top so that you can pick it up … it still works with the regular lid. If you use these … make sure you slightly angle them back or everything will fall forward 🙂
Question #2 Can you use the old ink pads in the new storage units?
Answer #2 It is NOT suggested. But you can make them fit. Just understand that if you do there will be a gap and the gap can make the units unstable on your desk. Here’s a picture…
You can clearly see the gap and if you have these stack 10 high or ever greater I’m not sure if it will help or hurt.
My suggestion is to use the Open Storage Cube…… how I’ve done so in the picture below. Top left corner are the In Colors retiring next month and I never bought the new style ink pads.
If you have any other questions feel free to send them to me … I love helping you all decide what will work best for you!!
Now for my drama … I’m working on getting my Coffee and a Card video posted from yesterday… but … it’s downline day and I woke up to my fridge being dead. So far I’ve emptied out all the food out of the fridge … next is the freezer. Thank goodness we have a freezer in the basement and I can transfer that (but it may take a hundred trips). And… I need to go buy a fridge and hope they can deliver it soon … and I need to go buy all the essentials like mayo … etc. GRRRRRR
So, my work week has not turned out as planned. As soon as I get the freezer food transferred I’ll get back to posting my card.
To add a little bling to this box I used the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack to cut out a Rich Razzleberry flower and then I added a Petal Pink Rhinestone Gem. In my video I mentioned that you can color those Rhinestone Gems any of our Stampin’ BlendsMarkers (the darker colors).
Storage by Stampin’ Up! in my Chic n Scratch Studio
I’m super excited to share with you my new storage wall using all the pieces of the Storage by Stampin’ Up!
Benefits for me (Angie)
They are lightweight.
They take up less real estate on my shelf.
I can reach the top shelf (yes I’m only 5’3″).
These the questions that I’ve received in the last 24 hours.
Q. Do the old ink pads fit in the Ink Pad Storage?
A. They will fit …but the sides will have a small gap. I would suggest you order one and see if you can live with the gap. If not you can always use them for the brand NEW In Colors coming out in June.
Q. How many pieces did you use?
A. For my set up….. Ten (10) Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays, Three (3) Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays, Fifteen (15) Open Storage Cube, Five (5) Storage Topper, One (1) Storage Lid
Q. Will they be in the Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog?
Q. Do the Stampin’ Blends Markers fit next to the Ink Pad?
A. No, that space is for the Stampin’ Write Markers.
Q. Are you getting rid of your old storage units?
A. No! I can use them in another area of my office. I do my Zoom training calls on this wall and I wanted the setup to be all Stampin’ Up!
Q. Do they fit on the IKEA Kallax shelves?
A. YES! I moved some of my fabric aside to test it.
I feel pretty confident that I can answer everyone’s questions now that I’ve set it up in my studio. As a demonstrator I carry all the colors of stamps, ink, paper and ribbon. I LOVE paper crafting…. but it also my job. I have all the product because it’s what I need to run my business. I would never expect anyone to purchase all the pieces. I’m just showing you options.
One more IMPORTANT NOTE: These items may sell out quickly and if they do… Stampin’ Up! will turn off the ordering button. Not to worry … they will be in the annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog.
Here’s my live video from yesterday….I didn’t edited it and I should because it’s not my finest work (some negative comments threw me for a loop) but I know some of you will want to watch it regardless of whether it’s perfect or not.
I’ll be back in an hour or so to share the project I made on Monday during Facebook Live.
