Stampin’ Cut & Emboss

Cutting dies of stamped images is easy, thanks to Stampin’ Cut & Emboss! Our die cutting and embossing products do the work so that you don’t have too.

Snowflake Scallop Circle Box

 

This box is the same box that I made last week for week 3 of my 12 Weeks of Halloween.  I really liked the Halloween version but I LOVE this one!!

After I cut out the scallop circles using the Scallop Circle Die I embossed it with the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder.

The Whisper White Snowflakes were cut out with the Snow Flurry Bigz Die that’s featured in the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog (page 14).

I added a Vintage Faceted Designer Button with a Basic Pearl in the center.

And last but not least when the box was complete I sprayed it with Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed with alcohol.

Stamp Set of the Month for September

Scentsatinoal Season stamp set cardThe stamp set for my September Stamp Kit of the Month Club is the Scentsational Season stamp set ….that can be found in the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog (page 16). 

I love this stamp set because it has the matching Holiday Collection Framelits  ….. they're a real time saver …. no more cutting all those images out my hand!! 

The base of the card is Early Espresso and I embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.

I cut out two of the Labels Collection Framelits ..smaller one with Whisper White card stock and the other with Cherry Cobbler card stock.

I stamped "Merry Christmas" from the Open Sleigh stamp set with Cherry Cobbler ink and I stamped the gingerbread man with Early Espresso ink.  I cut the gingerbread man with the Holiday Collection framelits and then added him with Stampin Dimensionals.

I added the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and three Rhinestones for his buttons.

We had a great trip to California  …. but I must admit I was very COLD.  I said before I went that I would welcome cold weather after the summer we've been having…but I TAKE IT BACK :)  It's not uncommon for me to eat my words so I'll just laugh right along with you!!!

Brooke has officially moved out.  Tonight will be my first evening alone (Dave out of town… Chase at work)….as you can see I'm still a little emotional.  It's a good thing I have a trip later this week to distract me!!  I think she's doing okay. 

At the orientation on Friday they spoke a little about Helicopter moms …that would be me!!  I'm also thinking "did I really prepare her for the world out there"?  I'm afraid I did not.

    Google Feed …Feed burner

    If you subscribe to my blog feed through Google … meaning you get my blog posts in your email box.

    I wanted to let you know that I've changed the delivery time to 3pm – 5pm.  I know it's better to get them to you earlier …but … if I don't get everything posted by 1pm …it's sent the next day.  So, I changed it because I'm usually done with everything by 3pm.

    I will do my best to post mid day as usual but on days like yesterday it will be helpful to have an additional two hours!

    If you are not familiar with the Google feed … stay tuned ..when my new site goes live I'll provide a video on how you can sign up.

    I have an idea :)

    By now you all know I'm the queen of trying something new :) 

    Since Convention I've been racking my brain … trying to come up with a new program.

    I have this idea …but often times I don't think it all the way through ..or I try to think of everything and I fail.  So …I'm going to try this for this for 3 months .. to see how it goes …but before I can begin .. I need a name 🙂

    After posting my warm up cards on my Chic n Scratch Facebook page last night I heard loud and clear that everyone likes to provide feedback.  And I love it!! 

    If you'd like to help me name this … feel free to post a comment on this post or email me at angie@mychicnscratch.com.

    Here's how it will work … I was thinking about calling it my VIP's ..but then all my customers are my VIP's and I appreciate you all!  So maybe VIP's is not the right name.

    • Each month (for July, August and Sept) the person that spends the highest amount with me (I see how some of you are ordering two and three times a month) will get the Stamp Kit of the Month for free (includes Stamp set and all the supplies to make six cards .. does not include ink or adhesive).
    • Each month I'll try one name (from everyone that orders places an online order with me) to also get  a Stamp Kit of the Month.

    That way I'm rewarding the person that is loyal and orders from me a lot and I'm also including someone that may or may not be able to afford to spend as much.

    I'm not the best at wording .. my intentions are good.

    Today …August 1st
