Hello paper crafters! I’m here today to share my Blessing Mix Trinket Tray that I made last night during my live video. And…to remind you our Seasonal Sale started today.
I shared a fabric trinket tray on Monday and today I’m sharing a trinket tray made with paper (designer series paper). This is my Blessing Mix box for this year. If you would like to see some of my previous versions, please use the “search box” on my blog.
I used the Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Series Paper and it measures 6″ x 6″ and that means you can make four of them out of one sheet of paper. All you do is score it at 1-3/4″ on all four sides and pinch the corners in.
You have options with my trinket tray….you can leave the corners out or you can fold them in to have a box like this….
I added a base to this one using the Deckled Circles Dies.
The Blessing Mix is Bugles, Peanuts, Candy Corn, Pretzels and an orange slice. Here’s the poem..
Blessing Mix Poem
The Bugles are a symbol of the Cornucopia, a horn of plenty.
The Pretzels represent arms folded in
Thanks & Prayer.
The Candy Corn reminds us that during the first winter the pilgrims were allowed only five kernels of corn per day because the food was scarce.
The Fruit is a reminder that Thanksgiving is the celebration of the harvest.
The Peanuts represent seeds, the potential of the bounteous harvest of the next season if they are planted & well-tended.
