Look what I made this morning…..It’s a coaster that I made into an ornament. It’s the same idea as my post it note holders, only difference is square coasters versus round coasters.

I decided to make a fun post today!! I usually try to keep most of my posts business related and today’s post is, in a round about way. I wanted to update the photo on my blog but I ran into a little problem that I’m sure alot of moms share. I do not exist!! I went through all 17 of my completed scrapbooks and all the other albums waiting to be scrapbooked and I’m not in any of the photos…..why not…..you know…. I was the picture taker!! So, instead of getting my picture taken today, which I’m sure would turn out terrible since I don’t photograph well….I decided to show you a really old photo…..the message for today is …Make Sure Your Family Is Taking Pictures Of YOU!!! Have a great day & don’t laugh too hard at my 1980??something photo (maybe 89).
Okay the extra is the colored version, I for some reason didn’t want you to see blue file cabinet in the background, but you know that blue was in style back then!!
p.s. if you use "Dotto" adhesive you can remove your photos from your scrapbook without doing any damage!!!
Sorry it’s taken me a while to get this to ya. If I left something off, please let me know.
The measurements for this one is different than the Xmas Gum holder on my Chic n’ Scratch Shack. I had to trim it a little to make the "Merry Christmas" fit. The original measurements are….. cut your cardstock at 2 1/2 x 8 1/2 and then score at 2 1/4, 2 3/8, 5 1/2 & 5 5/8.
After you score the cardstock, use your word window punch on the longest end.
If you keep the original measurements you don’t need to use the Dotto adhesive, it just stays closed by itself.

Extra info….Sorry I was missing for a few days. Not only did we have Thanksgiving to celebrate but also Chase’s 15th birthday!! He and Dave left yesterday for the lake, I’m so happy they enjoy spending the time together!! Brooke and I are headed to the usual….the library/book store & maybe get some lunch.
Thanks Andrea for this idea, I changed the size and the stamp set but loved your paper choice!
Okay, I couldn’t wait another second to show what I made late last night…..isn’t he the cutest? It’s a Trident gum holder!! If you’d like to order these, hop on over to my Chic n’ Scratch Shack and check them out!
I promise this is my last post today…you know it’s not normal for me to post three times. It does feel funny rubber stamping a snowman on hot sunny day, I think it’s 76 right now…. but here in Overland Park, Kansas we’re possibly expecting snow on Wed. and the high of 33 degrees..yikes, talk about a winter wake up.
Have a good night!
