My post today is about my mother and other news.
I’ve tried my best to get the news out that my mother passed away the day after Christmas and Gizmo (Brooke’s bird) passed on January 6th. I posted the news on Facebook but some of you are not on Facebook. I posted it at the bottom of my blog but not everyone saw it. So I decided to make the news the center of attention.
We laid our mother to rest this past Saturday (in Tennessee). Yes, we dealt with snow storms, flight cancellations, etc. Everything this past month has been difficult!!
I am asking for your grace and patience as I try to get caught up on everything. And, I will get caught up!

Aggie, so sorry for your Mom’s passing. I lost my Mom to cancer when I was 18 in 1959, but that pain never really goes away. I’m blessed with wonderful memories of her and your memories will be with you and bring you comfort. I am holding you in my prayers!

But God is there to comfort us during times like this. Losing Gizmo was also
a blow for you. Be strong (as I know you are) and take care of yourself. You
