I started my Chic n Scratch blog on August 14, 2006!  That makes today my blogging anniversary!

Here’s some fun facts ….

  • You Tube started in 2005 …. I started blogging one year later. 
  • If you Googled a term … it might take you days to find what you were looking for … or in my case months/years.  You had to search it exactly right or else you would not get the answer.  It took me years to figure out how to Stream Live videos on UStream … do you remember those days? 
  • I did my first video on You Tube on December 7th, 2007 … that’s 16 months after I started blogging.  It was a Altered Clipboard Tutorial and it just makes me cringe now… but I wouldn’t dare delete it … it was my first 🙂
  • My claim to fame (LOL) was the Monogram Post it Note Key Chain in February 2008. That reminds me… I should film a newer version!

  170. Congratulations Angie! I’ve been watching you since the beginning. Your Monogram Post It Note Keychain was one of my very favorite projects to recreate! I also altered it to make scissor charms and used it as inspiration for other monogrammed items such as notebooks, etc. Love all you do!
