I am not sure about my favorite Thanksgiving memory but I vividly remember one of the “worst” when I met my husband’s aunts, uncles, etc. for the first time that Thanksgiving. The food, no comment other than thank goodness a convenience store was open for me to get a bag of Doritos to eat on the way to my parent’s house for a proper Thanksgiving! Whoever has left a dinner still starving? I guess like they say location, location, location – don’t sit in the seat where I was as the food was gone before it was passed to me! Stuff that did appear was too gross for me to handle and I am not really a picky eater. But, it was one of the last Thanksgivings with his mom who died two years later which I am grateful to have known her.
Would LOVE to win this set….THANK YOU FOR THE CHANCE!!!!!!
Periodically my older son has his birthday on thanksgiving. He was in 4th grade and we were heading to my (former) in laws house and the phone rang. It was a parent of a classmate of his saying thank you for the invite but they couldn’t make the party. And how brave was I to have a party on a holiday! Well..I was stumped. So I asked my son and he said yes, he wrote invites on pieces of paper and handed them out to the whole class inviting them to his party! Thankfully there weren’t any more calls..not sure why..but if anyone showed up I never knew about it. We still laugh about it.
Thanks for the opportunity to win! Chase turned into Mr GQ for sure!!! Too many favorite memories to list. I really miss dinners with my whole family though, mom, dad grandma and sisters. Those were the days?
All Thanksgiving dinners with my parents were the best and now that they are gone, I have all those happy memories to remember.
Love this fabulous set!!
Hi, Angie. Thanksgiving was always my favorite holiday *as an adult*. Not as much fuss, around Christmas….It was just a time of food and family.
Now, that my parents are gone, I am having a hard time finding ‘happy’ Thanksgiving. I will, though, for my son and hubby, who will be the only ones here this year. Gotta have turkey and pie, fo sho!!! LOL AND, LEFTOVERS!
I think my favorite Thanksgiving was the last with mom, at her house, with a houseful of family! Thanksgiving, 2014.
On that note, I hope everyone does have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
P. S. Your Chase looked like it was a chunky boy! And, WOW. Very sauve and debonair, now!!! A very handsome man!
You are so right! He was 8.5 pounds 🙂
The most memorable Thanksgiving was the year my Mom forgot to put sugar in the pumpkins pies. Her and I were so tired we did not have a piece until the next day. At that point we realized we had the most polite guests ever, they never said a word.
Well a big Happy Birthday to Chase !! Hope he has a wonderful day!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I don’t really have a fav story from past but i do this yr! My daughter just told me her n hubby are ecpecting there 2nd child!! That will make me a grandmother to 4!! Very exciting!
Happy Thanksgiving Angie, your son is very handsome. I think my favorite was last year, I was in Arizona with my whole family. My two kids, 7 grandkids, and 2 great-grandkids and we were able to get a family photo with everyone I it. Wahoo! So blessed to finally have my daughter here in Oklahoma. Yeah!
All Thanksgivings are good. Especially when my family is together. When I was young we had Thanksgiving at my grandparents. A folding table for the kids was set up in front of the couch with folding chairs on the other side. Cousins everywhere!
`What great Thanksgiving pictures you showed. I love it that he’s now a young man. I was born the day after Thanksgiving so guess that’s my best memory. Thanks for being you!
Growing up in a large family (8 siblings) Thanksgiving was always exciting. Then add in the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Though the grandparents and dad are gone, we still have the large get together with in- laws, nieces, and nephews added in the mix. We too have quite a few birthdays that fall on Thanksgiving Day. Enjoy the season.
My favorite was going to my grandparents house for Thanksgiving. Now that they have passed my Aunt has takin the reigns. So we go to her house with her 4 kids their spouses and children plus my parents and Uncle and his wife and my husband and my 2 adult children. It is a very full house but we make the best of it. After dinner some will go for walks or some of us will play cards. My favorite is playing cards. There’s always a little money involved. I’m always happy to contribute. But someday I may win that 10.00 pot. LOL. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
P.S. What a very handsome son you have there. Happy Birthday Chase ?
Love the pucture of you as a brand new mom……and your son should/could be a male model!!! How handsome he is!!!
My husband and I were married just after Thanksgivinf Day….very special day for us, but get tickled at him that he forgets that our anniversary (47 years on the 28th!)
Only come closer to Thanksgiving every few years…! He chose the date so he would not forget…And he never has!! Thank you for the chance to win this fab bundle!!! Happy birthday to your son and hope that you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving day!
I don’t have a favorite memory of Thanksgiving. I have been very blessed they have all been wonderful! But I do miss family who have passed away over the years. But on the bright side, we have had many new additions to the family. Thank you for the chance to win! And happy birthday wishes for your son!
This blog candy is amazing. I’m blessed to spend Thanksgiving with my family. You’ve raised a handsome young man.
Thank you for the chance to win this bundle! I have many memories of Thanksgiving Day gatherings with my extended family, filling our plates (and stomachs) while watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade!
You’re too young to have a 25-year old son! 🙂
A favorite Thanksgiving memory is the year my aunts made pumpkin pie for the meal. After we complimented them on how good it tasted, they told us they forgot to add the pumpkin! : )
First off, congratulations on having an adorable son — at birth and now! ☺ Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of them all. I come from a family of 7 children and, needless to say, we didn’t eat out much. Our vacations always entailed getting a room with a kitchenette so we could have our dinner after checking in, then breakfast the next morning, then making lunches for on the road. We never questioned it–it was the way things were and we were on vacation, so we were thrilled that we were kind of camping indoors. We had a terrible storm one Thanksgiving and after the turkey had been in the oven for about 30 minutes, the power went off…and stayed off…and stayed off. My father announced we were jumping in the car and heading to the truck stop (most likely one of the few restaurants open on Thanksgiving and pretty cheap for the 9 of us). All of us still recall that fondly and always laugh. Our dad told us not to order everything and stuff ourselves, as there was pie, turkey, and everything still at home. That was in the days before threats of botulism and who knows what were such a big “public health hazard.” We were able to finish cooking the turkey shortly after we got home and had our Thanksgiving meal the next day, thankful for a second chance at a Thanksgiving meal, thankful that we had the opportunity to go out for a meal, thankful that Dad had that Friday off from work and we all got to celebrate again, thankful to be together, thankful for the power being on and so much more. We were also thankful that none of us died from botulism — ha! It wasn’t the only thing we ate back then that people are cautious about nowadays. I’m thinking raw cookie dough and pancake batter — YUM! Happy Thanksgiving to all. Make some memories!
Happy Birthday to Chase!
My memory isn’t the best holiday ever, but a memorable one! One year my Mom and dad were fixing the meal and the day of Thanksgiving, they both got terribly sick with the stomach flu. They packaged up the food and left it on the front porch so I could come by and pick it up. They didn’t want us exposed to their bug! So we picked up the food, took it home (about 1/2 hour away) and had our Thanksgiving without my folks.
Don’t really have a favorite memory, but have lots of nice ones. Great stamp and die set, thanks for the chance to win.
Yay for sales!
Angie your Thanksgiving memory is perfect. As far as mine,,, all Thanksgiving Days are great because of family getting together no matter what we eat, no matter what football game is playing on TV or who is playing the piano we are all together being thankful for family, and one other thing…remembering those who are unable to be with us. Happy Thanksgiving to all!!
Happy Thanksgiving! Happy Birthday to your handsome son, Chase! We always had glorious Thanksgivings, and I loved being the hostess for my parents and brothers and their families over the past 25 years of marriage while raising my two kids. Now our kids are 23 and 21 and this will be our first Thanksgiving without them at Thanksgiving! Just hubby and me; our one kiddo will not be coming home and our other will likely visit or we will visit him sometime over the holiday weekend. When my brother is not working, we’ll all meet up at my parents. Here’s to new traditions as our family is grown and starting out our their own!
what a wonderful way to celebrate thanksgiving with a new son and now so good looking too!
I don’t have a favorite thanksgiving, but the best for me is when we can get all the family together- the mix continues to change as we too have lost parents and grandparents and have added daughter in laws and grandchildren
happy thanksgiving everyone and thanks for the chance to win!

Thank you, have a great holiday! My thanksgiving is always great with family around.
What a wonderful set, it would great to win this darling set. Thank you and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Oops, forgot to say what I luv about Thanksgiving. It is a time for our family to all come together as one. We have many thing to be thank for and enjoy all the laughs we will share.
I would love to win this set!!
My favorite memory will be hopefully this year! We decided to take a break from the traditional big family Thanksgiving with the whole family to just the four of us! I am going to cook everything that our family likes and nothing they don’t. Here’s hoping that doing an intimate meal and day will help us to catch up with our girls that come home from college. No boyfriends, no crazy mother-in-laws just our lil family. I can’t wait!!
Both my birthday and my sister’s birthday sometimes fall on Thanksgiving. This year my birthday is the day before and hers is on Thanksgiving.
Thanks for the chanced to win this set would love it. I am a November baby too
and this year its on the 25th so I missed Thanksgiving by 2 days. I love when my
birthday falls on Thanksgiving because it makes me feel so special and gives me
pause to reflect on what I’m grateful for.. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours and
a special Happy l Birthday for your son.
What a big bouncing baby boy, sooo handsome now.
I loved thanksgiving at my moms with siblings and their families. They are both gone now, just not the same but need to make it special for my family.
Love the set.
Happy Birthday to Chase and Happy thanksgiving to all.
Aloha Angie and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! I can’t name a particular year, but looking back, whenever our whole family of 5 was together was special. Now with our folks gone and my sisters both in California, I always look forward to Turkey Day with the family of one of my close friends here in Hawaii. Mynda
Oh Angie, I love your hospital picture. You can see the awe and blessedness in your eyes!! And my, my what a handsome guy he grew up to be — you have been blessed!! Every Thanksgiving is special for me because we are together as a family and sometimes guests that don’t have a family to spend the day join us (I love those memories the most).
Awesomeset Angie..Thank you for the opportunity for a chance to win..I have
many Thanksgiving memories..some great and some not so great lol..One year
that comes to mind was the weather..I live in upstate NY & usually we have a
little snow or a lot of snow, but this one year it was 80 degrees. We did a garbage
can turkey outside & we were in shorts! If you have not had a garbage can turkey,
you are missing the most awesome, juicy turkey ever. Thank you Angie for all
the awesome projects & inspiration you bring to me..Peggy
O my..also..May you & your family have a blessed Thanksgiving! Peggy
Every day is a blessed day and we have an “almost” son whose birthday is also on Thanksgiving this year. Your son is very handsome also. Thank you for the opportunity to win the blog candy and you are awesome for offering the chance to win. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
My favorite Thanksgivings were those when all of us kids were still young and the entire family gathered at the table in my maternal grandparents’ home to feast on the biggest turkeys I ever saw…my grandpa was always instructed by grandma to “get the fattest bird he could find”! I still don’t know how we all fit in their little 1-bedroom retirement home, but it was just plain wonderful. They were the best, and I still miss both of them dearly.
Thanks for the chance to win. Favorite Thanksgivings are when the whole family can be together.
Thanks for the chance to win. Love the photos of your son! I am so thankful this year as we just moved to a new home and was able to get unpacked enough to have the family over for Thanksgiving! My 3 kids each made it home too which was really special, especially since they hadn’t seen the new house yet!! So blessed to be able to share the day with my parents, my brother and his family, my husband and kids.
I cannot say that one Thanksgiving stands out more than another. It’s just a blessing to spend it with family. I was born on Thanksgiving day many many years ago. My mother said I interrupted her Thanksgiving dinner. lol!
I think that 2014 was the best Thanksgiving because we had all of our family from both sides together at our house. That had not happened before or since. It was so fun! The kids (all grown) played board games and we ate until we couldn’t eat anymore. All Thanksgivings are memorable because everyone makes a special effort but 2014 was the one that will stand out in my mind forever as the best. Sadly, we had to have this Thanksgiving without my FIL because he passed away in June. We miss him dearly but felt his love in hour hearts!
Hello, my favorite thanksgiving memory was in 2000. That was the year I had my daughter. Born on the 24th. I’d been told for 15 years I wouldn’t be able to have children do to medical issues. I had a horrible pregnancy, which involved dehydration, placenta praveria, not enough amniotic fluid, and then news that my baby may have spina bifida. After our thanksgiving meal. We were thankful for our blessed child…and I gave birth to a perfect child. She just turned 17. She’s my miracle my breath. She’s intelligent and beautiful. I can’t imagine life without my baby girl. Thank you for letting me share. It brought me to tears but of joy. Hugs
Great give-away Angie! I love cooking & baking as well as teaching so my favorite Thanksgiving memory is from this year! I taught a friend’s daughter, age 10, to make her first pumpkin pie all by herself. She did the crust, the filling and the whipped cream. It was so fun teaching her because she wanted to learn and it boosted her self-esteem. The pie was absolutely delicious because loving hands made it. I’m proud of her!
This is my favorite Thanksgiving for a long time, We were fortunate to have our oldest granddaughter surprise us. We were lucky enough to have our four grand children and their spouses, with our children and spouses to all be able to enjoy our meal together. Usually someone is always missing…. I will never forget this Thanksgiving, as we were certainly blessed. Thanks for the chance to win.
All my Thanksgivings when I was young. Whole family would be together and just makes me feel so warm and cozy to think about it. I miss my mom and dad very much. Chase is very handsome.
My mom always put a See’s chocolate turkey at our place setting- we loved it as kids. I do the same for my kids & niece & nephew, it’s tradition!!!
