Santa’s Suit Tic Tac Holder

Santa’s Suit Mini Tic Tac Holder

SantasSuittictacholder

During Facebook Friday #28 we made a Mini Tic Tac Holder using the Message in a Bottle Stamp Set along with the Sweet Home Stamp Set.

And… I promised I would share a Christmas version today … isn’t it darling?  I made it with the Be Merry Designer Series Paper and the Garden Green Stitched Satin Ribbon

When I was creating the project I struggled with what to use … current Christmas product or brand new Holiday Catalog product that goes live on September 1st? I ended up using a combination of both!

From the Holiday Catalog I used the Santa’s Suit Stamp Set (for the greeting) and the Mini Tinsel Trim Combo Pack.  Everything else is from the annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog and you can see that list below or in the FREE Inspiration Sheet.

Here’s the video tutorial…..

For the Halloween version I used the Message in a Bottle Stamp Set with the Sweet Home Stamp Set and it’s hard to see but we embossed the Basic Black card stock with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.

All the supplies are listed in the FREE Inspiration Sheet.

  1. Thank you so much for sharing the Santa Suit version of the Tic Tac holder. I was in the hospital on the 28th and missed your live video. Home yesterday and my granddaughter and I watched this video. We are both excited because we think we can make these for treat day at school – either for Halloween or for Christmas. Granddaughter is 8yrs old and loves to stamp. Thanks again.

  2. The Houndstooth is my favorite but only a smidge better than the Christmas tree one. Now, I gotta find these mini Tic Tacs so I can make a bunch of these! So, cute!

  5. Howdy Angie,

GOT MY ORDER OF PAPER TODAY, AND I’VE BEEN MEASURING AND CUTTING. Watched the message in a bottle demo, went to Dollar Tree and got tic tacs, and now, I’m ready to go.
I’m big on Christmas so they will all be for that holiday.
I also cut papers for the cat box. Love that little goodie box!

    Thanks a million,
    Elaine

  8. So cute, love them. I went to my Dollar Tree and picked up a few candies but couldn’t find the mini tic tacs. I’m sure they are there. I’ll look again. What I love about the Dollar Tree store is that EVERYTHING is $1.00, unlike Family Dollar stores, everything is priced different, and at the Dollar Tree, you can get so much stuff for the house.

  9. Both tic tac holders are very cute. Hope I will be able to find the mini tic-tacs. There isn’t a Dollar Tree in my town.

  11. I don’t really do a lot of Halloween projects, but will definitely be making some of the Christmas ones. The DSP is so pretty, you can use scraps (if you have any) from any of the patterns and have a winner. So cute. Thanks for the instructions.

  13. So cute Angie! I love both the Halloween version and the Christmas version – they will make perfect little gifts for my co-workers this year. I think I like the houndstooth paper, but the trees are awful cute too.
