I’m happy to report that the 2018 Calendar File is ready!
Click here if you would like to purchase the calendar file.
If you are unfamiliar with our calendar file … please watch the video before you purchase the downloadable file. You can print and use the calendar file as much as you’d like but we ask that you do NOT share the PDF. (Our price of just $2.99 has remained the same for the past 6 years.)
To decorate the coaster calendar … I used the Merry Moments Designer Series Paper with Garden Green card and Cherry Cobbler card stock. I also used the Garden Green Stitched Satin Ribbon to hold the two coasters together (to stand).
The Holiday Catalog goes live tomorrow and please remember that Online Ordering will down for a short period. You should be able to start ordering online around 4 or 5am (central time).
Thanks and have a great day!
p.s. I’m going to try to go live on my Chic n Scratch Facebook business page some time tomorrow morning (Friday, Sept 1st). I still think I may not have a strong enough connection but as I always say to my children “it never hurts to try”. I’ll give a 15 minute warning before I try and we’ll see what happens. If you want to be notified when I go live please make sure you’ve click on get notifications. Here’s a picture of that …
My project for you today is the Spooky Night Halloween Box that we made during Facebook Friday #29.
Before I explain the box I’m going to talk about Friday real quick … in a couple days the Holiday Catalog goes live … on Friday, September 1st. I usually go through the catalog with you page by page, BUT…. it’s Labor Day weekend and we won’t have an internet connection on Friday. I was going to try to go live just using my cell phone … but after researching it I’m just not sure my cell phone will have a strong enough connection. So, instead of hoping and praying I have a connection, I’m going to post a video that I’ve pre-filmed … I know it won’t be as exciting but at least I’ll be able to go through it page by page.
Mark your calendars …..
Facebook Friday #30 will take place on September 8, 2017
Facebook Friday #31 will take place on September 15, 2017
Facebook Friday #32 will take place on October 6, 2017
I’ll be out of town and not able to host a Facebook Friday on September 1st, 22nd and 29th.
Now back to our project ….
We made this darling box on Friday using the Merry Cafe Stamp Set with the Coffee Cups Framelits. I used Basic Black card stock for the box and then decorated it with the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper.
Here’s the video of the live stream (long and wordy)…..

The Pumpkin Pie Group needs more members to get started in September! Click here for more details.
Personal Note: I’m sorry I wasn’t able to post on my blog yesterday!! I took Brooke to the medical center yesterday to have some tests .. and we were there again this morning for another round of tests. Hopefully we’ll know more soon!! Thank you for your prayers and patience!!
We’re going back to my business page (not the group). Click here to go there now. If you can’t see the video … give it a few minutes and refresh your screen and you should see it. Plus I’ll send lots of reminders leading up to it. (To refresh your screen on a mac – press command R to refresh your screen on a pc – press control R.)
A K Cup Holder is the 2nd project for the 12 Weeks of Halloween 2017.
I made it using Basic Black Card Stock with the Spooky Nights Designer Series Paper.
The hat image is also from the Spooky Nights Designer Series Paper and I fussy cut it out with my Paper Ships. The circles were cut out with the Layering Circles Framelits and the Stitched Shapes Framelits.
The greeting is from the Merry Cafe Stamp Set and don’t you LOVE the Black Rhinestones?
Most of the product you see today is featured in the Holiday Catalog that goes live on September 1st. Special Note: Online Ordering will be down a few hours to transition over to the Holiday Catalog. You should be able to start ordering around 4am central time.
Here’s the video tutorial…

It’s Tuesday, so you know what that means! I’m spending the day with my Chics Paper Ink team.
It’s going to be a busy day with coaching calls plus our team training!!
Today we’re discussing some of the social media training tips I received over the weekend, including CinchShare.
Aren’t these table decorations darling!! Not only was the meeting amazing but the decor too!
I also wanted to share these bags with you…..they are being sent to the Top Ten in sales on my team and to other team members who became qualified recruits last month. Lesli and I love making these gift bags each month!!
You’re probably wondering what’s in the bag! Each bag has a pack of enamel shapes, a mini gift bow and some of my favorite bath soap.
My card for you today was one I made a few weeks ago.
I made it using Paper & Ink Sketches #22 and I turned the Sketch on it’s side … and turned the Circle into an Oval …you could almost say it’s not Sketch 22 except I did use it to create my card 🙂
I used Wisteria Wonder card stock for the base of the card with the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper.
The birthday greeting is from the Happiest of Days Stamp Set … and the flowers were stamped with Basic Black and colored with a Calypso Coral Marker … then I fussy cut it out.
Now for the ribbon …. it’s the Whisper White 1/8′ Sheer Ribbon and I colored it with the Wisteria Wonder Stampin Write Marker. Warning …. if you color it with the marker … let is dry before you attach it … if you look real closely you can see where I didn’t give it time and it bled on the oval.
Wisteria Wonder: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, Score @ 4-1/4, 5-1/4 x 1-3/4, Oval (2-1/2″)
Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper: 5-1/4 x 4, 5 x 1-1/2
Personal Note: Thank you for your patience and understanding last week! One of Chase’s high school friends passed and it was his first experience with a loss. Dave took him to the lake house this past weekend and it was good for them to have father/son time (without us girls). The meeting I attended was just what I needed to get my brain right back into business!!! And I was able to visit with several downline girls …. even Marisa came all the way from Chicago (if you’re friends with me on Facebook you may have seen a few pics of us). The meeting was fabulous and I’m officially using CinchShare to schedule posts on Facebook … and I am going BACK to hosting Facebook Friday’s on my Chic n Scratch business page … it will be viewable on the Chic n Scratch Online Group. Don’t let all this confuse you … long story short, if you’ve not been able to see the videos because you’re not on Facebook … you’ll be able to watch them again!
