12 Weeks of Halloween 2016 Week 2

 12 Weeks of Halloween 2016 Week 2

12weeksofhalloween2016week2b

This Halloween Box is the 2nd project for the 12 Weeks of Halloween.

I made it using Basic Gray card stock that measures 8-1/2 x 10 …. along with the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I used three stamp sets featured in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog and they are the Sweet Home Stamp Set, Mr Funny Bones Stamp Set and the Spooky Fun Stamp Set (there’s a bundle available for two of them).

To tie the box closed I our Handheld Stapler … along with the brand new Halloween Night Bakers Twine.

  1. LOVE this Christmas take on your #4 challenge Angie. Really cute with all the new Christmas goodies. So glad you shared – this template is so versatile – will be using it in the future like crazy. I have never made cards with a basic template before and I’m beginning to see why they are useful! I’m keeping a note book with your challenges and what I have made with them. In the future I can refer to them so I can whip a card up without spending time trying to figure out what to do. Thanks so much for starting this challenge. It has been so fun to see what everyone has come up with

  4. This box is so cute but then again I say that about all your projects! I think you really need all three sets to really make the box special like you did. I am not a Halloween person but I sure would like to make a few of these! I will have to ask some friends if they have the set and we could have a little workshop making these! I love your idea of a template although I didn’t mark on one template any of the directions and had to figure out what the template was for. The sticky note fell off I guess. Live and learn!

Your Christmas card for Sketch #4 is so cute! The Tin of Tags set is on my wish list already! Thanks for sharing with us!

  5. Very cute Halloween treat box. The ghost is darling. I think I would just use black paper for the bat, it so small. Thanks for sharing.

  9. I love this box! I realize that you have a bat stamp, but wouldn’t it be easier to just cut it out of black paper, or does the bat stamp have bat features on it? My hands aren’t very steady, and I probably would not be able to line up the die. Thanks.

  15. Love the box. I just had to make it. Don’t have the spider web stamp set yet, so I decided to change it up. I made a line with a pencil and added 7 staples to create a scar….perfect way to close it.

  17. Another great Halloween project! Both the first and the second are ones I want to make for school! Don’t feel pressure or stress about Skittles! She was hard to hear, and when I did finally hear her, she made me smile! She likely wanted her Granny to let her come down and play with paper and be in the video! And this fan loves that! 🙂 Thanks for sharing, Angie! I can’t wait to order Sept. 1st!
