Popcorn Box

 Stampin’ Up! Popcorn Box

popcornboxb

I LOVE making Boxes and Bags and when I saw the Popcorn Box Thinlits in the brand New Stampin’ Up! Catalog I knew I had to make it immediately!

I started out wanting to make a Father’s Day box …. but it quickly turned into something else (the Dapper Denim was first).

I used the 2016/2018 In Colors with the  Sweet Stack Stamp Set.

Don’t you love the Ruched Ribbon?

I wanted to make my box out of Designers Series Paper … but it was a little flimsy due to the lightweight paper …so I started with Whisper White card stock.    To make it like mine,  you’ll cut two pieces of Whisper White card stock and two pieces using Designer Series Paper.  See my video for a better explanation.

Special Note:  I attached the bottom different from the instructions because I made it with two sheet of paper instead of one.

  14. These are so cute. I thought they were bigger for some reason maybe thinking like a regular popcorn box. But, this is really cute for the size. Thanks for the tip on using an extra piece of cardstock to stabilize it. Very cute and I like how you decorated it.

  33. Thanks for making the video. It helped a lot. Just as you say, they are stinkin’ cute. I made all five colors. Think I will make some of my infamous caramel corn and pass it out to me gals on craft day in this adorable popcorn box. I am sure they will warrant the “wow” factor. Thanks for all you do to keep us all inspired.

BTW, I am Betty Simmons BFF and she is your downline in Rogue River, OR. When I signed up, I picked Diane Dimich. We did not have a local gal, or so we thought, so we picked from the demonstrators who had websites we frequented the most. Both of us are just avid hobbyists, thus no effort is made to “grow” our teams. We are senior citizens just having fun playing in our craft rooms.
