12 Days of Christmas 2014 Day 9

 bathsaltsin

The Peppermint Bath Salts are the 9th project for the 12 Days of Christmas.

I made the Bath Salts labels with Photoshop Elements and there’s two sizes (both files are provided on this post).  The larger label fits with the 2-1/2 Circle Punch and the smaller label fits in the 1-3/4 Circle Punch.

I printed the labels on really good copy paper … you can use white card stock but it’s heavier and not necessary.

I purchased the glass jars at Specialty Bottle  …. Brooke and I gave these out as Christmas gifts this year.

Here’s the Peppermint Bath Salts Recipe:

  • 1 cup Epsom Salt
  • 1/2 cup Sea Salt (course)
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Soda
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 10 drops doTerra Peppermint Oil
  • Red Food Coloring

Here’s a video on how to make the 12 Days of Christmas 2014 Day 9.

What a great idea for gifts! I was wondering what size of bottle did you use for the smaller label size? Was it the 4oz or 6 oz. bottle?

Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. I wished I saw this before Christmas so I could make some.
