Birthday Box

Stampin’ Up! Birthday Box

 birthdaybox_b

My project today is the Birthday Box that I demonstrated on my live stream on UStream Tuesday night.

I’m sorry I had said I would leave those videos on UStream ….but after the first hour ….  I went over on my views and was charged an overage fee.  So, in the future … I will record them on UStream … immediately save them to my computer and then post them my You Tube channel (this will take about 24 hours to process). I plan on recording all future streams so if you miss it not to worry …. it will be available.

To make this box you’ll need a piece of Designer Series Paper that measures 8 x 8 and the Envelope Punch Board.

I used the Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper  (from the Occasions Catalog) along with Another Great Year Stamp Set.

I stamped the cupcake with Soft Suede ink and then colored it with So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana markers.

  13. Dear Angie, I follow you via email and I live in Europe, so I see your projects always a bit later. I love, love, love this box, but I desperately need your help. If I want to make this box from a 12×12 paper, what measurements would that be? I really struggle with my envelope board making boxes in the sizes I want as I never can work out the scoring measurements, it is so frustrating. Sometimes you need to punch at the inch line, other times at the spearhead bubble, it drives me crazy. Can you help me? Please! You are my last hope, as I always understand your tutorials. Thanks so much in advance, Nessie
