Happy New Year

 gingerbread-housefinal

The title of my blog post is Happy New Year and I post a picture of a Gingerbread house …. what can I say?   It’s the only picture I have at the moment.

Truth be told … since Brooke and I are still sick Dave couldn’t wait any longer and he finished the Gingerbread house himself.

So what’s new ….  not much!    I’m still terribly sick!  I went to urgent care on Saturday … three days later …. I still can’t function. The one saving grace is I’m finally able to sleep (with some good meds) and Dave came home early to help me.

Back to the sick stuff …as soon as I feel better I’ll create some projects and get them posted.  Our Sampin’ Up! Leadership meeting is next week and I’m keeping my fingers crossed I get to go.

Here’s a couple selfie pics at urgent care, they made us wear face mask because so many people had tested positive for the flu. (I was there twice in one week …..once with Brooke and once for myself).

The final picture is a cute blurry pic of Miss Bella. (She loved her new bone.)

  1. Your husband did a good job of decorating the gingerbread house! Sorry you are so sick at your house, it takes about 2 weeks to get over it, it’s nasty stuff this year. Feel better soon.

  5. Oh I feel for you. Don’t don’t try to do anything until you are totally well. I speak from experience…..eight days in the hospital…..a total of three weeks with that darn flu last year. Drink plenty of liquids and sleep. Good luck and get well quick.

  10. OMGosh… I’m so sorry you were so sick. I’m late in making this comment, so I am hoping you are much better, but I know you still have that nagging cough. You’re in my prayers. (Somebody told me this crud could last until March…Holy CRAPP!… I sure hope not.) Take care of yourself.
