Holiday Catalog Bag

 Holiday-Catalog-Bag_b

My project today is the Holiday Bag shown on page 16 of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.

I’ve had several requests for this bag and although I’m not totally sure this is the exact bag …. I think you’ll agree it’s close enough.

I made some minor changes  to the decor … let’s just say “I simplified it”.

I used the Season of Style Designer Series Paper along with the Joy to the World Stamp Set.

I changed the ink from White to Early Espresso and I also changed the pattern of the Designer Series Paper.

  1. Hi Angie,
Miss Bella is so cute and a Happy Belated Birthday Wish to her.
I like the box that you made for the video better too. The dots and scallops look much more elegant. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day.

  2. Love this bag with paper you used. I’m so jealous that you get everything SO straight every time. Don’t know why I’m having such a problem with keeping things straight. Love your video’s!

  5. Another adorable little project!! Can’t wait to try it!

That indentation thing on each side is called a “gusset”. Now you can sound really smart when you teach someone else to make it! 🙂

  7. Love this video…all your videos are super easy to follow, so much so, that I just go ahead and make whatever you demo before watching all the way through…Yup, they’re that Good. You can bet these bags will be made for teachers’ gifts this year.
Miss Bella is a cutie. My little one sits on a window seat and watches all my crafty hours in my craft-room. They are such great company, aren’t they?
It’s great that I can access you via Pinterest too.

  8. Hi again, I just bought the Naughty and Nicre This and That Rotary Stamp…If you have gotten one, could you please give us some ideas on ways to use it. The lettering is so tiny. BIG sentiments are so in and these sentiments are so small. I really just included it in my demo order to “round it out”.
    Thanks.
