Holly Jolly Christmas Box

Holly-Jolly-Christmas-Box-_bframe

The Holly Jolly Christmas Box was my swap for Founders Circle this year.

What excited me the most about this box was that I could make 120 of them using the Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack (I needed 3 stacks).  You can find it in the Holiday Catalog and I just love that you get 48 sheets of paper in one pack (4-1/2 x 6-1/2).

I used the Tags 4 You stamp set with the Label Bracket Punch … and the colors are Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso.  In these pictures you can’t see the bottom of the box … but it’s Crumb Cake.

Don’t you love the Cherry Cobbler Ribbon?

Here’s a video on how to make the Holly Jolly Christmas Box.

12 Weeks of Halloween 2013 Week 8

12weekofhalloweenweek8_bfinal

The Halloween Wreath also known as a Designer Series Paper Wreath is the 8th project for my 12 Weeks of Halloween.

I used 6 sheets of the Witches Brew Designer Series Paper along with the Halloween Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit. I shared with you how to make the rosettes back on Week 6.

I cut the paper into 1/2 strips and they measure 12 x 1/2. You curl them with the Bone Folder … and attach them with a pin.  It took me about 2 hours to make … with several interruptions.  You can probably make it in about an hour.

To make this wreath all you need is:

  • Styrofoam Wreath – 12″
  • Pins
  • 6 Sheets of Designer
  • Bone Folder
  • Stampin’ Trimmer
  • Ribbon for hanger
  • Decoration – Rosette & Linen Thread

Here’s a video on how to make a Halloween Wreath ….

Please visit my blog to watch the video .. the links have stopped working.

Thanks & have a great day!

p.s. There was some confusion yesterday regarding my mailing list verses the emails that come to your email box each day.  Those emails are called my blog feed.  I typically send one to two newsletters a month (except during the holidays when I send the 12 Weeks of Halloween and 12 Weeks of Christmas).  If you’re already on my mailing list you do not need to join again to receive my 12 Weeks of Christmas. Also note … the link in the blog feed does not work in your email box … you will need to visit my blog to join.  Again … I’m looking at changing my blog feed to a new service but in the meantime we’ll continue to use Feedburner until I can find a new one (for those of you that haven’t heard Feedburner is shutting down).

Bite Me Photopolymer Stamp Set

Biteme

I’m super excited to announce the Bite Me Photopolymer Stamp Set.

I don’t have it yet … but it will be going on my next order and when I arrives I’ll be sure to use it on one of my 12 Weeks of Halloween projects.

I normally post Digital Downloads on Tuesdays but this week I’m behind on everything. So, this is another quick and dirty post until I get caught up.

The tent topper card I’m sharing with you is one I created a while back … I call it a dud because I couldn’t figure out how to jazz it up.  Do you ever have days that no matter what you do you can’t get it right?  If I gave it some time I’m sure it would come to me!

This card is cute … but it’s totally missing something.

bestofhalloweententopper_c

I used the Best of Halloween stamp set and while I was at Founders Circle I was told the the Best of Halloween was one of the top selling stamp sets for the month of September.  Do you want to know the other two?

Best of Autumn Thank You Card

 Best-of-autumn-thank-youcard_b

I’m sharing a simple Thank you card with you today … and it’s actually the warm up card to one I shared with you a few weeks ago.

Here’s a picture of it …  huge difference isn’t it?  I always start out with my cards being really simple and if I have the time or the energy I jazz them up with a little more embellishments (although quick and easy cards are my favorite).

trulygrateful4card_warmup

On the warm up card I used the Best of Autumn stamp set (134390) along with the Another Thank You Stamp Set (Photopolymer stamp set).

Speaking of Photopolymer stamp sets … we have two new ones.

I had a wonderful time at Founders Circle and our motto all week was “we can sleep when we’re dead” … and now it’s “I need a vacation to get over my vacation”.

I’m so motivated after spending all week with such talented business women … I can’t wait to implement some of the ideas (I took lots of notes).

I need to announce some winners from last week … but I’m going to hold off until tomorrow …. my flight landed at midnight last night and after the drive home I ended up with less than six hours of sleep.  I’m going  to unpack … veg out and then work super hard the next few days to get caught up.

Thank you so much for choosing me to be your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!! Because of you I was able to attend such a fantastic week and get inspired!!  (This trip is the golden nugget because all of us are business minded and the sharing that takes place is amazing!!!)

Have a wonderful day!

12 Weeks of Halloween 2013 Week 7

12weeksofhalloween2013week7_d

The Trick or Treat Box is the 7th project for my 12 Weeks of Halloween.

I used the Tags 4 You stamp set along with the Chevron Embossing Folder.

I’m not sure if you can see it …but I colored the Rhinestones with a Black Sharpie before I added them to the spiders.

To make this box you need two pieces of card stock that measure 6-1/2 x 4-1/2.  You score the top at 15/16th on all four sides and the bottom at 1″ on all four sides.

Here’s a video on how to make the 12 Weeks of Halloween 2013 Week 7 Box.

Truly Grateful Thanksgiving Card

Trulygratefulcard_b

My project today is a simple Thanksgiving Card that I made using the Truly Grateful stamp set.

The colors are Baked Brown Sugar and Summer Starfruit. I can’t believe how much I’m using Summer Starfruit (I was a More Mustard fan before it retired and thought I couldn’t live without it … guess I was wrong).

I used the Burlap on the card … as well as the little fibers you see right next to the acorns.

I’ve got a video on how to make the Truly Grateful Thanksgiving Card.

If you’re unable to watch this video in your email box … please visit my blog to watch it.

Stampin’ Up! Supply List:

  • Stamps:  Truly Grateful 131730 (W) 131733 (C)
