My card today is for our Chic Challenges CC 06.
After several months of designing cards for our Definitely Sketches program … I’m finally getting the hang of it.
I’m new to sketches and when I first started using them I had to create my card exactly as the sketch. But I’m happy to say I’ve stepped out of the box.
A sketch is a starting place … an outline ….. but you can go in any direction you want (it only took me 7 months to get it … LOL!).
So, that’s how this card came to be …. it’s not exactly like Sketch 6 … but it started out that way.
I used the Quatrefancy Specialty Paper and pennant the ends with a Square Punch.
The thank you is from the Lots of Thanks Stamp Set and I stamped it with Island Indigo ink.
I cut the butterflies out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch and the Bitty Butterfly Punch.

Beautiful Card!!! I need to come up with something to do for you so you can thank me with that card lol!!!
Very pretty, but where do they come up with these names for the DSP?
Beautiful card, I love how you used the DSP on this one. For why the paper is called quatrefancy, the shape used in the design is a quatrefoil.
Wonderful – plain and simple and EASY card…TFS~)!
Beautiful card! I love your cards!!!! I am always looking forward to see what you have made. Thank you for sharing!
It’s taking me forever to get it about using “a sketch”. Any tips?
