Top Ten Retiring Products

Top-Ten-Retiring-Items

Here’s my Top Ten Retiring Products!!

  1. Scallop Square Die – 115959
  2. Scallop Square Duo Die – 120903
  3. Tabletop Paper Trimmer – 106959
  4. Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder – 120175
  5. Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint – 116806
  6. Two Tags Die – 115954
  7. Lovely Letters Alphabet
  8. Fancy Favor Box – 115965
  9. 1-3/8 Square Punch – 119877
  10. Frost White Shimmer Paint – 116854

It’s a close race but I have to say the Scallop Square Die is my number one item that “I can’t live without”.

I used that die to create the Rag Quilt Purse using the Big Shot Die Cut Machine ….. that you see everywhere online!!

6a00d8341d73f053ef012875b8a1ef970c-200wi

I also used it to create the Savanna Bag.

6a00d8341d73f053ef012877950039970c-500wi

And the …. Squares and Diamonds Quilt back in 2010 (it was a gift for my aunt).

Squaresanddiamonds

Now you can see why I’ll miss the Scallop Square Die!!!

  • Next on the list is Scallop Squares Duo Die … I used that die to create all sorts of little boxes .. especially around the holidays.
  • The Tabletop Paper Trimmer is what I use every single day! I also could not live without this item (and I have two of them).
  • Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder – what can I say .. this is my go to embossing folder .. always.  boo hoo
  • Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint  … all I can say is please let it be in the Holiday Catalog!! I’m allergic to glitter and this is what I use during the holidays.
  • Lovely Letters Alphabet .. my go to Monogram set .. it fits nicely in a circle and I can use it with the Scallop Circle Punch.
  • Fancy Favor Box .. it’s our last real box die cut in the catalog.
  • 1-3/8 Square Punch — holy cow.. how am I going to pennant the ends of my paper (I will guard my punch and keep it forever).
  • Frost White Shimmer Paint – same as the Champagne Mist .. I use it to add a little shine to my holiday projects.

If you plan on quilting in the future .. get the Scallop Square Die!!   I just started back sewing and now all the products are leaving.  But .. it’s in my blood and I will continue!  (Basically I’m saying I still have videos in the works for that Scallop Square Die that involves sewing.)

• Greetings of the Season Stamp Set

p.s. many of  you have ask “Are you going on the incentive trip to Fiji with Stampin’ Up!?”  Sadly I am not .. over the past few years my health has gone up and down and I just couldn’t see myself traveling that far ….  the amount of hours traveling terrified me.  I also have a very hard time being stuck in one seat….17 hours of traveling would surely kill me! Just kidding 🙂

Epic Day Monogram Card

Thisandthatmonogram-card

I’ve got a pretty simple card for you today!

It’s almost the end of the school year and I always think about thank you cards and monogram cards as we approach May.

And since I have a hard time throwing away even the smallest of pieces of my Designer Series Paper … I decided to make some Monogram cards with my left over Epic Day Designer Series Paper.

I used the Lovely Letters Alphabet stamp set along with the Circle Circus stamp set.

I stamped the Circle Circus image with Pool Party ink and then I stamped the letter A with Soft Suede ink.  I cut the image out with the 1-3/8 Circle Punch and added it to a 1-3/4 Soft Suede Scallop Circle using a Dimensional.

Here’s the supply list for my Epic Day Monogram Card:

  • Stamps: Lovely Letters – 115030 (W) 127796 (C), Circle Circus – 115778 (W) 127784 (C)
  • Ink:  126982 Pool Party, 126978 Soft Suede
  • Card Stock: 100730 Whisper White, 130814 Epic Day Designer Series Paper, 115318  Soft Suede
  • Tools/Accessories: 119854 – 1-3/4 Scallop Circe Punch, 119860 – 1-3/8 Circle Punch, 104430 Stampin Dimensionals

Mark  your  Calendars!

LIVE stream on UStream Wednesday night at 7pm Central time.

I have a horrible headache today ..  so the live stream will only be to test my system and make sure I can keep my signal… the FUN will happen on Wednesday as we go over the Retiring Stamp List together.)
