My Patterned Occasions Valentine Card is a total case of a card I received from Nancy at our Stampin’ Up! Leadership conference.
I loved her card … except … I didn’t have the Designer Series Paper she used … or the ribbon (I’ll admit … I wasn’t a fan of Summer Starfruit until just recently).
And … I wanted to use her card for my Stamp Club because I knew that they would want to know how to get the designer series paper on that little cup. So .. I re-created the card …using what I had!
I used the Patterned Occasions Stamp Set with the More Amore Designer Series Paper. The base of the card is Naturals Ivory and I embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder (say that three times … as you can imagine .. when filming the tutorial I messed that up!).
Here’s the video tutorial on the Patterned Occasions Valentine Card ….

Speaking of re-creating ….
Have you ever found a card that you wanted to re-create and thought to yourself …
- I don’t have that punch!
- I don’t have that paper!
- I don’t have that stamp!
- Forget it! I can’t make that card!
Does this sound familiar?
Stay tuned to my blog – the solution is coming!
Thanks & have a great day!!
p.s. If you participated in my Sale-a-bration Class .. I have a Bonus project tomorrow that I’m sharing with everyone! I just couldn’t resist when I remembered that it only needed two pieces of 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper.
Love the DSP teacup. It makes the card!
I really like that you used the Naturals Ivory with this card….I’ve never used it but it looks nice!
