Perfectly Preserved Stamp Set for October

The Perfectly Preserved Stamp Set is the stamp set of the month for Stamp Kit of the Month.

I love this stamp set because you can use it for several occasions .. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Teacher Appreciation ….the list goes on and on.

I used Real Red card stock and embossed it with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder … or you could use the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder that can be found in the Stampin Up! Holiday Catalog.

The greeting is from the More Merry Messages and I stamped it with Early Espresso ink and cut it out with the Decorative Label Punch.

You’ll need the Cannery Framelits as well as Merry Minis Punch Pack to make this card.

The lid of the jar was made with the Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper and tied with Linen Thread.

Once the card is complete … Spray it with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint mixed with alcohol.

Here’s the Stampin Up supply list for the Perfectly Preserved Seasons Greeting Card:

Here’s the card that inspired me to make my own.. I love Mary Ellen’s card! (I must learn how she embossed the edges of the Crumb Cake card stock!!)

Click here if you’d like to more information about Stamp Kit of the Month.  If you registered in the past week … I’ll need to know if you want to join for the September kit or the October Kit.

Have a great day!!

p.s. I’m a tad behind on the 12 Weeks of Halloween … I’m sorry but my energy level took a nose dive and I’ve really been struggling!! After three weeks of battling it I called my doctor and they referred me to a endocrinologist .  I saw her today …she ordered blood work and hopefully I’ll get an increase in my thyroid medicine.  It’s crazy a month ago I was feeling fantastic and then boom … it’s like I have weights attached to my body!!

  1. I would like to start with the October Stamp kit. I registered last week. I’m new to stamping, so do I need to order the supplies I don’t own to make the card or does is included in the kit. Also I didn’t see an option for payment, so I was wondering how I go about doing that also. I Love your web site and instructions on how to things related to stamping. Thanks for all the things I’ve learned watching your videos.

  3. Do you have the recipe for making the shimmer spray paint mixed with alcohol? I have the paint, is the rest just rubbing alcohol? Thanks!
