Isn't this card cute? Jill sent me this card a few weeks ago and I just had to share it ….. especially since we've been seeing hot air balloons in our neck of the woods lately.
Here's a picture I took with my cell phone a few weeks ago. Some of them landed in the field right in our neighborhood 🙂
Back to the card …. she used the Sweet Centers stamp set with the Scallop Circle Punch. Here's how she made the balloon part.
- Cut three Scallop Circles out of Designer Paper and fold them in half.
- Punch a hole with the Crop a dile right above the fold line (using the larger hole punch) on all three scallops.
- Punch two holes in the White/Island Indigo card stock.
- Thread ribbon thru the scallops and you'll glue the ribbon down on the back of the Island Indigo card stock.

p.s. If you applied to be a project designer or instructions writer …I'm still working on it. Almost every day I head to the doctor ..and then when I get home I'm out of energy. Angie, I love the picture you took of the hot air balloons and will be using it as my desktop background…right after “Breaking Dawn” opens at the theater because right now I have the movie wallpaper as my background.
I really like this stamp set and will have to consider getting it to make the 3-D affect you showed here. Thanks for sharing.
