Paperwork & email day

Today I’ll be working on emails and paperwork.  I’m running a tad behind ….. I had doctors appointments Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and by the time I got home I was to tired to work.

If I get caught up I may post a project this afternoon.

Good news though …. I went to my thyroid doctor yesterday and as I expected my medicine needed to be increased …. my levels were high …which meant my dosage needed to be increased.   Maybe I’ll get lucky and it will start working right away 🙂

My 12 weeks of Halloween has two weeks left … I’ll get them posted by Monday (Halloween) so you may want to check back over the weekend.

Warning … this may shock you …or scare you.  I had over 30,000 emails in my assortment of email boxes …and I just couldn’t take it any longer.  So, I deleted every email that was dated before July, 2011.  If you sent me an email before that date …and I never answered you … please feel free to email me again.

I think this may be the time to say  …in the old days …before this spring. I used to check my email every minute of every day.  I was obsessed!  But when life happens …it really shows you what your priorities should be.  I’ve told many people what happened this year was a wake up call that I was over doing it.  I got the message and I’m changing my ways.  It may take me a while to figure out my system but I will do it!  This is forcing me to be organized in a way that I’ve never been……but always wanted.   Sorry I’m rattling on today …..I do that when I get really tired.

Thanks for understanding & have a great day!

  2. Long time follower here. How long have you had thyroid issues? I myself am a sufferer and actually had a total thyroidectomy a couple of years ago. Hope you have more energy very soon!

  3. I can relate. I spend all day on my computer so I am quick to respond to customer. addicted much!
Hope the meds start to kick in soon. Did they test you for Hoshimoto’s disease? My friends daughter just found out she has it and another friend does have it. I have my thyroid under control but struggle so much with my Fibro. Getting older sucks! ( but you are still young my dear!)

  4. Good for you!!! I’d probably delete them all and just start new for the day. 🙂 Once I was so overwhelmed and stressed, I threw my calendar in the trash. After a few missed appointments, I decided I was a little rash with that decision, but it gave me a new start! All-in-all, it relieved some momentary stress and taught me how to keep an “uncluttered” calendar from then on…and it taught me how to say “no” when I didn’t want to do something!

  5. Holy horrors – 30,000 emails!!! I get a little freaked out if I have more than 30! (No business, here, otherwise, I might like more…)

I’m amazed that you are accomplishing as much you are, considering all you’ve been through. I’m happy to see your fun videos and posts, but I think we all agree that you need to take care of yourself.

Rest and get well; we’ll still be here!

  6. Hi Angie,

I have Lupus and get extremely fatigued – people who don’t have issues with fatigue don’t understand what the word tired really means. I just came off a flare – which had me in the bed for the last three days. Anyway, today at Church my Pastor told us a little story and I thought this would help you, give you a laugh and know God is faithful. A guy had committed a crime and was sentenced to 120yrs by the judge. The guy was distraught and kept telling the judge he couldn’t do that much time it was impossible. After repeating himself several times about not being able to do it – the Judge told him “to do as much as he could”. We can only do as much as we can and when we do that and the best we can – that’s all we can do! I love all the ideas you have shared and if you can’t do but one project a month that will be fine – all we need to do is go back and look at the ones you have already shared – that should keep us busy for a while. God Bless and you are certainly in my prayers.
