Greeting Card Kids Valentine Box

Greeting Card Kids Valentine Box The Greeting Card Kids Valentine Box is what I made on UStream Saturday.

Do you remember the Fox & Friends Candy Box I made last year?  Here’s a picture of it….. 6a00d8341d73f053ef012876e6cf13970c-400wi It’s the same box…..except I made it much larger.  The Fox & Friends candy box measures 3-1/4 x 3 and the Greetings Card Kids box measures 4-1/4 x 4-1/4.

I used the Love Letter Designer Paper with Riding Hood Red and Early Espresso.  The “Happy Valentine’s Day” greetings is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

I stamped the image on Watercolor paper and colored it using the Aqua Painter with a combo of Watercolor Crayons, Stampin Write Markers and ink pads.

Here’s a picture of the inside….

Have a great day!!

Petal Cone Ice Cream Card

Petal Cone card
Can you believe this card was made with the Petal Cone die?   When Jill gave it to me at Leadership all I could say was WOW!!  I seriously love it!!

She used the Square Lattice Embossing Folder for the texture and the "happy birthday" is in the Curly Cue stamp set.  The cherry on top is the Glimmer Paper in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Here's a look at the inside.

Inside petal cone card When I first got the Petal Cone die I was thinking I'd make something with a heart (there's a heart in there).   But an ice cream cone….not my idea but I sure love it!!

Over the weekend I'm going to film a video on how to make the Petal Cone Ice Cream Card.

Petal Cone with Eat Chocolate

Petal Cone Box
Isn't this box darling?   It was made using the Petal Cone die from the Occasions Mini Catalog

I've heard from a few of you asking if I like the Petal cone die….the answer is YES!  And…..after I show you all the projects you can make with it…you'll see why.

The box was cut out with the Petal cone die with the Crease pad, the cutting pad seems a bit harsh and cuts through the scrore lines (but all Big Shots are different and yours may be able to handle the cutting pad).

The colors are Soft Suede, Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla ….along with the Eat Chocolate stamp set.

I'm filming the video today….and if all goes well I should be able to share it tomorrow.  Click here if you'd like to watch the video on how to make the Petal Cone Box.

Thanks & Have a great day!!

My Chic n Scratch on Kindle and ipad

I love electronics 🙂 that sounds funny coming from a stamper doesn't it?

So, the reason for my extra post today is My Chic n Scratch blog is now listed on the Amazon Kindle ….and if you have an ipad you can subscribe to my blog feed compliments of Blog Shelf.

Neither of them are free…but I just had to share it with you.   And please don't feel obligated to purchase either … especially if you have time to check my blog from your computer.  If you're like me…. you're so busy you need info pushed to you verses having to go find it ….. and both of these do just that!!

Here's the details:

  • Amazon Kindle will feed my blog to your Kindle for $1.99 a month (31 days in a month equals about 6 cents a day).  If you live out of the US, this option may not be available to you. Sorry!!
  • Blog Shelf is an ipad app and once you pay the $4.99 you can subscribe to my blog feed ..right from the app. I swear my blog posts look better on the ipad than they do through FeedBurner (but don't tell them I said that).

Here's a picture of My Chic n Scratch on Amazon (don't have one of my ipad…yet) and click here if you want to take a peek over at Amazon.

See ya tomorrow!!

p.s. I know I need to get busy stamping …tomorrow for sure!
