We made Glitter Pens yesterday on UStream…..& Designer Paper Pens too 🙂
For the Glitter Pens we used the Dyna Grip ink pens (found at Office Max or Office Depot). If you're adding Glitter to the outside…..any of the pens will work (RSVP pen, Foray or Dyna Grip) but if you're adding the Glitter to the inside….the Dyna Grip works the best!!
For the Designer Paper pens …I have an older video showing how to make them…. click here if you'd like to watch my Designer Paper ink pen video.
I'll make a video in the next few days……. In the meantime….to make the Glitter Pens, all you need is Sticky pages & Chunky Glitter (sold on page 196 Idea Book & Catalog & page 21 Holiday MIni). You can also add some Fine Glitter to fill it in. I used some retired Glitter I had on hand….but for my video I'll make sure I use the current Red Chunky Essentials Glitter or the Glass Glitter 🙂
I've pulled the recording from yesterdays event….I've mentioned it before but I try to not talk about it too much……believe it or not I have a negative reaction to Glitter. Crazy isn't it! It itches my nose & bothers my breathing & after I used the Fine Glitter the rest of the video was me coughing and clearing my throat…it was not pretty!! For the ladies that were there….You Are the BEST!! p.s. after my shower…I left the house and got myself a Mr. Clean magic eraser….you'll be seeing it in my You Tube video!
Have a great day!!

p.s. Don't be alarmed …. My Chic n Scratch Classroom is still in the process of gettting a face lift. It works…. we're just making some changes.
So sparkly! Angie, I’m so sorry I missed it! I could SWEAR I saw that you would be streaming at 3:00 central and when I showed up everyone was gone! Thanks for doing these streams for us though. They are great fun (when I get the time right!).
Not to cause alarm, only to inform, I found this about the Magic Eraser. If you are sensitive to glitter, you may have problems with this product.
Wear rubber gloves, just in case.
Hello Angie, I just placed an order on line with you and wanted to take an opportunity while I am still on your blog to say thank you for the continued videos and inspiration. You are one of the reasons I keep stamping. Your projects keep me excited about this hobby. I hope you feel better.
