Fabric Gift Bags

For the ladies that like to sew, this project is as easy as pie (actually easier than pie…who came up with that phrase?).

Sweet Pea Gift Bag

I used the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt with the Old Olive Striped Ribbon on the first one.  On the next one I made the flowers using the Big Shot & the Flowers Layers #3 die.

If you're like me you probably have a whole bunch of Layer Cakes just waiting for you to do something with them.

Click here to head over to my Sewing/Quilting Blog for all the details (I'll post how to make them on that blog and in a few days I'll have a picture tutorial you can purchase).

  1. These are darling! I’m sure they’re much easier than pie – I struggle with my pies all the time! Thanks for sharing your great ideas.

  2. Hi Angie,

    Cute little gift bags!

I have a question about one of the items from the “You might also like” spot.

I’m a newcomer to the sewing world & I was trying to find on your quilting blog how to make the knot that is holding all of the flowers together on the top of the package.

    Thanks from this newbie,
    Ann 🙂
