My card today is another one of my attempts to sew on a card. After Julie shared her cards with me I decided I had to give it a try. I have a few more to show you because you can't stop with just one 🙂
I used the Build a Roo stamp set on Shimmery White card stock & colored the Kangaroo with an Aqua Painter. The "happiness always" is from the Sale-a-bration set Whimsical Words.
This card was a real stretch for me….I decided to step out of my box and use a color that's not my favorite and I'm so happy I did! (The old days this card would have some green on it.)
I used the Sweet Pea Designer Paper and the kangaroo is covering up the beautiful butterflies that's on that paper.

Next I'd like to show you a card I received at Leadership…..Rochelle's card is beautiful and elegant and I was really excited to swap with her!!
She used the Build a Roo stamp set with the Tiny Tags that's in the Occasions Mini Catalog.
Here's another one of my simple cards…I like this one just as much as the one I shared with you yesterday! If you make one and want to share it with me feel free to email me a picture. I swear they are much cuter in person!!
I used the Lots of Bots stamp set with Messages for Mom. I love the font on the Messages for Mom stamp set (actually I love the whole set).
My card today is super simple but it looks really cute in person!! I know I've said it to many times but I really love cards that have a white base 🙂
I used the Picnic Parade stamp set and it's the Free Stamp set I'm giving away on Feb. 28th. I took all three images and placed them on one clear block. I stamped it on Whisper White card stock and then colored the images with an Aqua Painter (I should have used the Blender pen on the mailbox).
My card measures 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 and the white layer that's popped up with the Stampin' Dimensionals is 2 1/4 x 2 1/4. You should try to make one and you'll see how cute they are in person. I like it so much I'm going to show you another one tomorrow…the only difference is I used a different stamp set with different colors.

Thanks for joining me!!
p.s. Fluffy is home & she's doing okay…..but not really. I'm watching her closely and dealing with Sissy freaking out trying to figure out what's wrong with Fluff. Thanks for all your emails!!
Special Note: We’ve spent several hours making these options available and would appreciate it if you refrained from making copies & passing them out. We feel that the fee we’re charging is very fair considering how much time & effort has gone into providing them. Thanks for understanding!!
I've had several people ask how I store my Stampin' Up! Sponges after labeling them. Here's a few pictures of how I organize them…..
Each drawer has the ink refill, a sponge and a sponge dauber. I bought these drawer units at Lowe or Home Depot many years ago (7 or 8 years) and I love how organized they keep my supplies….but I sure wish they looked prettier!!
My Build a Bear card today is my first attempt at sewing on a card 🙂 I've resisted using a sewing machine on my card mainly because I like to make quick & easy cards…..but I found out that just adding one stitch along the edge of the paper doesn't take a whole lot. (Don't look to closely….remember it's my first attempt.) Thanks Julie for encouraging me to give it a try!!!
My niece Cora has a birthday in March and this is the card I made for her…I can't wait to here how much she likes it!! (I'll show you the simple version later this week.)
I used the Beary Best Friends stamp set with the Whimsical Words (free set in the Sale-a-bration catalog). After I stamped the greeting I punched it out with the 1 3/4" Circle Punch and added it to the Scallop Circle from the Pennant Die.

p.s. Fluffy is still in the hospital and I'll post more details on my Angie Everyday blog …..as soon as possible. I'm not feeling very well today and I'm going to try to take a quick nap.
My organizing tip for today was shown to us a Leadership and I love it!!
Use the Round Tab Punch to label your Stampin' Up! Sponges. When it was shown on stage I believe it was hand written but since my handwriting truly looks like Chicken Scratch I decided to use the PTouch to label mine.
In the old days I labeled my sponges with a sharpie marker but it was sometimes difficult to read….I really like how nice & neat this looks 🙂
If you'd like to see how I made them, I've filmed a video and posted it on my Chic n Scratch Live! website. Click hereto watch that video now.
