Just checking in to say hi 🙂
After the scare on Thursday I've been glued to Dave's side.
After the scare on Thursday I've been glued to Dave's side.
I'm not sure I'll ever get over seeing his eyes rolling back and him passing out. Over the past two days I've continued to stare at him and he keeps asking "what are you looking at?" (sounds almost like a child). And I say "I'm making sure you're alive".
And to top all that off….did you see the Holiday Blizzard we had in Kansas? I'm a Tennessee girl and don't know how to drive in this stuff. So, not only does Dave have cabin fever but we all do!!
I think tomorrow I'll head down to my office & try to stamp something.
In the meantime …I've posted my Kindle Clutch on my other blog.
Thanks for joining me!
Sending prayers your way – hope you and Dave are doing well and continue to feel healthy and blessed!
Wow! that is always a scare! my honey was on Cholesterol Medicine and we ate grapefruit – he had fainting spells in the evening! so we quit the grapefruit and that was that! How much snow did you get? We live southeast of Sioux Falls, SD about 20 miles and we had 20 inches. We have lots and lots of piles of snow now that he has scooped. We live on a farm but ‘thankfully’ do not have any livestock!!! Take Care! love your ideas!
hey there,
I think we got around 8 inches (maybe more) and then a few more today. Its hard to tell because the wind has blown it all over the place. Some areas look like we got 3 feet.
20 inches….yikes!!!

Angie,
What was wrong with your husband? Wow, what a scare on Christmas Eve! My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas even with all the drama.
Ciao,

Can totally relate – but I promise – I was the same for more than two weeks nearly driving my poor DH nuts. But the day will come where you can actually treat him “normally” again – mayby even yell a bit – tell him to enjoy the pampering until then =0)…
I’m glad Dave is okay. I don’t blame you to keep an eye on him to be sure it won’t happen again. Take your time when you are ready to back to your stamping thing.
I can’t help with the feeling of needing to watch over your husband ( I can only imagine what a scare that must have been!) but I can teach you how to drive in the snow! Although I am used to it, I still don’t like it and try to avoid going out unless I absolutely have to.
Hi Angie,
I’m sorry you got such a scare with your hubby on Christmas Eve, but I just read your post where he is asking what are you staring at? and I had to chuckle. Sorry, but I can just see you staring at him to make sure he is alive. Hope you do not take this wrong, but you always make me chuckle.
My friend and her family moved to O.P. 15 years ago from So. Calif and although she does like it there, she definitely misses So. Calif. Be careful out there and do not drive if you do not have to.
Keep staring at Dave. 🙂 Yes, I’m concerned about his well being.
Always your fan,
Karyn
Hi Angie! Keep staring….it’s because we care. 🙂 DS2 had a seizure over a year and a half ago and I still am obsessed on checking on him (and all the boys) because of it. If it makes you feel better…just do it. Enjoy the beauty of the snow, but as a prevous poster said don’t go out if you don’t have to do so. Thanks for all you share here at your site.
Rhonda 🙂
Wow! What a scare. Keep your eye on him. It doesn’t hurt. What happened? Hope you both are well and healing is on your side!
Angie, I can relate to the thing with your husband. Mine has passed out twice (in a 10 year period) and gone into convulsions both times. It is VERY scary. He is a diabetic now (nothing to do with the fainting spells) and so I am still really worried. I feel like I am constantly saying, “Are you all right?”
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. One of your team members, Debra T.
