Scratch n Win aka Blog Candy

Blog candy nov

Good morning!

I'm giving away some Blog Candy and ……I need your help getting the message out about two things.

  • We're not moving (I shared this info on Saturday but then the news was buried by all my pictures of my stamp room).
  • Please change my email address in your address book.  If you have angie@chicstand.com please delete it!!   And use mychicnscratch@aol.com (unless I've told you to use another one, this message is just a notice to delete angie@chicstand.com).

Here's what's included in the blog candy:

  • Holiday Best stamp set
  • 3/4" Real Red Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Tombow Adhesive
  • Chic Stand
  • 10 Medium Weight Rectangle Coasters

I'll draw the winner tomorrow evening (Wednesday).

To enter to win, please post a comment on this blog post and if you're not sure what to say you can tell me if you've made your Christmas cards this year or are you're like me and haven't started?

Good luck & thanks for stopping by!

Click here if you'd like to place a Stampin' Up! order.

p.s. I'm working on two two videos today and hope to have at least one of them posted by tomorrow!!

  18. Hi, Angie,
I’m so glad you don’t have to move too! It’s so hard, especially when you starting going through things and your husband comments on how much scrapbooking stuff you have (ahem!) 🙂 My Christmas cards are done but I didn’t make them this year. We had some great professional shots done of our toddler so I made a digital card and had them printed. Happy Holidays to you and your family – we all have so much to be thankful for!

  31. I am breathing a sigh of relief for your ‘not moving’ news. Just the thought of packing a craft room makes me a little nervous. I had to move everything out of my craft room when I got new carpet last year, but luckily I could just stash things in the garage temporarily. Putting it in boxes would have made me cry.

I’ve been playing around with Christmas card ideas but haven’t decided yet. I usually go into production the day after Thanksgiving, so I’d better decide soon!

  222. Bonjour Angie, Je suis française. Je suis démonstratrice Stampin’ Up! J’adore ton blog.

I have actually started my cards, but still have quite a ways to go to finish. And I only have until Dec. 3 to get them done due to the mail from where I live!

  225. Wow Angie I’m so happy for you that you aren’t having to move. Moving in December is a royal pain (not that it’s easy at the best of times). I’ve done it twice and each time I swear never again. Now you can relax and enjoy Christmas. Who knows you might even get your cards stamped now. I started on mine but I keep giving them away as samples to fellow stampers and have to start over – lol! Oh well if I get any sent out this year it will be an improvement over past years. For some reason ever since my husband died some years ago I just can’t seem to get the cards out. Probably because that first year without him I thought I would have to tell all the people who might not have heard about his passing and couldn’t bring myself to do so. And then each succeding year the fact that I hadn’t done the previous year or talked to some of those same people to pass the news somehow stuck my feet further into the mud. This year I’m determined to break the cycle! I’ve started my letter and started stamping the cards so hopefully come December 5th I’ll have them done and in the mail. A girl can dream anyway…right?? 😀

Happy unpacking and thanks for spreading the cheer with such awesome blog candy. Would it be rude to say…Pick me, pick me!!! Hah…

Hugs and blessings and thanks for all the inspiring work you do and share. – Jean

  309. Wow, lots of entries for this blog candy! Tells me I have good taste in choosing which blogs to follow! 🙂

Christmas cards? Well, uh, now that you mention it, I guess I should start on them this afternoon. I’ve made a few random cards in the last month, but now I really need to buckle down and get serious. I debate between making a bunch of one design (although I hate repetitive work) or making each card different (which could take forever). Guess I’ll see what happens!

    Peace,

  318. This is my first time commenting on your blog, but the chance to win some blog candy was a great enticement. I have not started making my Christmas cards, although do have a couple designs on paper. Now I need to get busy. Since I am retired, the days seem to fly by faster than ever. I must say I admire the person who finished her Christmas cards months ago. Perhaps she could teach a class on organizational skills! LOL

I have about 9 different ones floating around in my head and need to narrow it down to 3 or 4. I will probably start the first week of December. Have a wonderful day!
