Good morning!
The Mini Baskets & Bloom video is ready and you can view it on my Chic’ n Scratch Live! website. Click here to go there now.
I’m leaving tomorrow for Founders Circle and while I’m away I’ll have little access to email (not totally sure if my internet card will work but I’m praying it does). While I’m away I’m having a little special…….
- Place an online order of $50 (before tax & shipping) on my Stampin’ Up! website and you will receive a kit to complete the project I posted yesterday. The kit will include the supplies needed to make one Mini Baskets & Bloom basket and the kit will ship around Oct. 1st. (Stamped images are not included.)
- Or you can get Double Reward Points on your Punch Card. When I return I’ll email you asking which you’re prefer.
Over the next few days I’ll be hosting a Creative Contest and I’ll post all those details when I post the first entry.
Thanks & Have a great week!! (I’ll miss you all!!)

p.s Sorry I didn’t get the video posted yesterday. When I checked You Tube last night it still wasn’t ready and then I got busy watching the news about Patrick Swayze. How sad to lose him so soon (reminds me of when Michael Landon passed away). Have I ever mentioned that I went to Lake Lure where Dirty Dancing was filmed? The clubhouse had burned down but the chimney was still standing 🙂 I need to dig out those photos!!
I remember when Micheal Landon died, I was so sad, he was so great. Patrick was taken too early but I guess everything is in Gods perfect timming. Have a wonderful time at Founders Circle!:)
Hey ang…put us together: we went to Mountain Lake last year where the rest of the film was made, eg. cabins, lake, dining room, etc. put a few photos on overthekitchencounter.com have fun while you’re away!
I am from Washington and my inlaws live in PA, we traveled to Virginia one year and also stayed and the place where dirty dancing was filmed and stayed in one of the cabins. I have pictures. love that movie
I have been to Lake Lure twice. Dirty Dancing was one of my favorite movies and I will miss Patrick very much. How sad to be gone so young.
Have fun at Founders Circle.
Cheryl
Can you tell me what the tool is you use in your videos to pick up and attached small punched pieces? I’ve never seen it before and really would like to get one! Thanks!

Place your Stampin’ Up! orders online at my Stampin’ Up! website! Email me for details and don’t forget to check out my “Reward Card” incentive program!
Dirty Dancing is one of my all-time favorite movies. I don’t know if it is because it was every 17 year olds’ dream back then or if it was just because he was so dreamy. I am thankful he will not be suffering anymore. I pray you will have a safe and FUN trip at FC. I know you will learn so much. Soak it all in and then squeeze it all out for us when you get back!
Geez…and I just put in a $100 order and missed your special! Have a great time 🙂
Angie,
Thanks for all of your video tutorials! They are great. Don’t worry about not getting the video posted when you said. It just makes it more exciting to see when you do post!…..by the way….I live about 15 miles from Lake Lure. If you are in the area again, email me and maybe we can get together and share stamping ideas!
Have fun at Founders Circle!
